Climate & Straud

Canonically Arthur Climate and Vladislaus Straud are cousins. Given that Vlad is 100s of years old at this point, and was a Spellcaster before he became a vampire, that would suggest Arthur Climate is a spellcaster too.

Back in the day, during the peaceful times, The Climates were a family of powerful Weather Wizards, and The Strauds did swamp magic (Straud means marshy ground, so I feel like they'd lean more towards being Fairies- here's Vlad creating a Will-o'-the-wisp)

While their magical paths diverged and Vlad chose darkness and blood magic (see his palm glow where he has cut it so often) they still meet once a year, midway between Samhain and Yule, to give thanks that they are still alive.
