in the finale it was pointed out several times that John was not needed or required for the plan to work, but then what was Lilith’s contingency plan if Arthur straight up just lost it when he saw the obelisk or kayne’s true form?

like idk I just feel that Arthur kinda had to be blind in order for this plan to work and for him to be able to get so close to it in the first place
