I had lots of fun with this one as I was really feeling an old Hollywood Great Gatsby vibe!! I wanted to combine elements of the roaring 20s avant garde fashion, with a mix of modern beachwear & an ode to Mugler’s ‘Birth of Venus’ half shell gown. Hope you enjoy my creative process <33

ArtistTree: Critique and Help Session

Hello everyone! A heads-up for Artist Tree's live Critique and Help Session, which will be going down July 21st, at 9:00pm GMT (that's tomorrow)! The session will last for two hours, though of course, we'll still be offering critique and help throughout the day as usual; this will be two hours where critiques, advice, and inspiration are the primary topic. (we may extend it out a bit too, if two hours doesn't end up being enough.) All you need to participate is a deviantART account, so you can get into the #ArtistTree chatroom (http://chat.deviantart.com/chat/ArtistTree). Come, join in! Share some art, ask for critiques or advice, or provide critiques and advice yourself! Mark your calenders! Set your alarms! prepare yourselves!

So some of you may or may not be aware, but I help to run the deviantART group and chatroom, ArtistTree. And we're looking for more content!

ArtistTree wants YOU!

Putting this up here because I know a good number of you are also deviantARTists; basically, we're on the lookout for everything from little suggestions, requests for events and blog topics, and so on, all the way up to contests that perhaps you'd like to run within our group, or blog entries you'd like to write. Volunteers for staff positions are also great, though we're not in dire need of those, unless you spot an event we're doing (or someone else is suggesting we do) and you'd like to help out.
