Legends of Excalibur | Arthur & John
His dreams hadn’t let up from the moment Arthur had woken up in a field. And lately it was as if the dreams of the sword were trying to drown out...well everything else. Arthur wouldn’t have even considered Excalibur as the possible sword that he sought if it weren’t for that Callie girl. She had seemed so sure that he was King Arthur. It had...well it had honestly been a little unnerving.
But the drive for the sword made it difficult to focus, and while he had tried to read all manner of books and legends, he thought maybe it was high time he sought some help on the subject. He asked around at the university for anyone who might know a bit on the stuff he wanted to know. It took...honestly it took longer than he would have liked for anyone to bring up the name John Darling.
John Darling, a phD candidate in magiliterature. Originally he thought he might go straight to the professor running the entire program, but the people in the offices said they were out, and Arthur wasn’t sure he wanted to wait much longer. The sword wouldn’t stop bothering him. So, he found himself guided over to a section of the library, the person helping him pointing out a young man for him.
Arthur took a breath and let it out again, straightening himself up and making his way over. “Hello. Are you John Darling?” He asked, wanting to confirm that the person that had been pointed out to him was actually the right man.
