Tattoo design! Just messaged my gallery to have this put on my body 😎
I was trying to get into drawing again last year so decided to start drawing a rat every saturday and called it "raturday" I ended up burnt out from it but this is based of one of my favourite pieces from that challenge
The piece from last October:
My sketch before I fixed it on the 'puter:
Drown in the dark, or we could go sailing.... on the sea
Does this count as art? Sure! I've been slowly turning the garden in our rented place from a patch of rubble into a nice, useable space
Last year (besides clesring it all of broke glass, plastic, rubble, ceramic, etc) i grew flowers from seeds, which improved soil quality and brought in rucks of helpful buggies, now i'm trying my luck with some veggies and a strawberry plant at the back which survived from last year
Here's a diagram in my journal because i have the memory of a slab of fetid brie
[IMG DESC: Six photos showing a hand-made plush doll of the character Ralsei, from Deltarune Chapter One.
He’s a bipedal goat made from dark grey cloth and stitching, with curled ears that stick out to the sides. His mouth is drawn on with white pen and shows a smile with two fangs on the outside, his eyes are two small, white buttons that’re haphazardly sewn on with pink thread. The plushie gets wider towards it’s base and the legs stick out front like he is sitting.
He wears silver glasses that’re sewn to the middle of his head with white thread, and a dark green wizard’s hat with room for his horns, sewn on with red thread. He is also wearing a pink cloth scarf, and a dark green robe sewn with white and light green thread, with a black heart drawn on the front. The robe is intended to obscures his arms, but the plushie does not have arms. END IMG DESC]
So I finally finished the Ralsei plushie I made for my girlfriend. He’s entirely hand-made, I don’t own a sewing machine so most of my time was spent on sewing all the bits together. I’ve made small bags and patched clothes but I’ve never tried to make a plushie before, I’m pretty proud with how he turned out for a first attempt. You can see some progress pics here if you’d like.
The fabric is an old work uniform I cut up, the stuffing I took from a broken pillow, I already had the buttons and the glasses are made from thick card painted silver. I was going to sew on the mouth with white thread but I ran out of time and thought the white pen looked good enough.
He’s a bit raggedy but Josie really liked him so that’s a win. “He looks like I’ve already owned him for years.” Yeah, I’ll take that.
You guys should follow me on instagram, I try to draw a rat every saturday... raturday 🐀
