Just me and my hearts... these are very personal to me. Broken-heartened can show up in many ways that can go unnoticed by the people that are close to us. I use art as away to elevate my life, my way of being and the lives of others. What is your antidepressant? All of us at some point and time may experience lost, disappointment and or grief. If you go through any of those things you will surely experience the highs of life too. The joy, the wonder, and the awe. Embrace life’s ups and downs and know that change is inevitable. This weekend I joined the @lynnmuseum @lynnartsbuilding for Final FRIDAYYYsss it was so much fun making new connection and being in conversation about some of the things that impact young people in the Lynn community. I am currently working on an installation that will be installed this month I can’t wait to share more details. A collaborative project inspired by the thoughts and lived experiences by several youth through out the Lynn community. The “Say Their Name” Project is brought to life by @buildingaudacity connecting youth with a series of artist and other connections to bring public art that speaks to social justice and uplifting their voices. Now that online learning is slowing down going into summer, #zntarts is offering a youth anime drawing class for kiddos 7-11 great for young artist new to anime, we reference a variety characters, giving an overview of anime culture with a sprinkle of pop culture.
