One thing the singer loved about having become a good enough musician that people all over the world enjoyed hearing his songs and he could travel to their homelands and play for them was seeing the world. As tours were carefully planned, and his band did not often have too much time to stay in the same country, Arvid was grateful this one tour had ended in Europe. That way, not only could he return home much faster afterwards, but he could admire the familiar scenery. They had played across Europe before, and every time they looked forward to a new visit.
The little concert they had had - well, not so little, really, but there had certainly been more people visiting when he'd played in Scandinavia for example - had been in Rome. The bus ride to Naples had been his friends’ idea, now that the tour was over they could stay here for a while longer. Though the heat had no mercy on him, Arvid was in love with the architecture and the beautiful sights the city had to offer, and it did not take much convincing to agree to stay some more.
“It’s gorgeous. I came here on work, initially... but my friends and I won’t be leaving just yet, so I had a walk a bit earlier. I love the place. Except for the warmth,” he chuckled, fanning himself with a hand, “I’m happy to be here again. And you?”
