another day and another mess.
while we are at it, let’s talk about the fact just how toxic the AAA fandom space has become. creatives are getting harassed, sexualised and are being sent death threats because they are either creating something someone doesn’t like (e.g masc/transmasc rio vidal or lcm) or are getting harassed because they aren’t pumping out content as frequently as someone would like (most/if not a lot of popular ffs). also let’s not forget the blatant disregard or somewhat obvious annoyance shown towards anyone who might like wagatha instead of agathario. this type of behaviour is what is offputting to people. and whether someone agrees or not, how a specific fanbase acts is most of the time why people leave fandoms and spaces they used to love.
creatives, whether fan artists or fanfic authors are human beings who deserve appreciation and support. they are giving people content FOR FREE BTW. and the least you can give them is kindness. just because someone might be writing explicit content, does NOT mean that you can just send them explicit or sexual content. please learn how to respect people, learn how to understand boundaries.
