vote results are in!
For issue two of stars aligned, we are pleased to announce that we will (again) utilize an open submission process and have a new predetermined theme.
To note, our results were (surprisingly!) 50/50 between open submissions and doing an application form, and after having thoroughly discussed the pros and cons of both, we decided that due to the big success with the way we ran our first issue, we will continue to use the former method.
That being said, we will have our policies and submission guidelines posted and finalized on the night of February 14, but to briefly explain, having an open submission process with a predetermined theme means we will provide a general theme(s) for creators to work with, and from February 15 through May 15, we will be accepting complete works of art, writing, or multimedia submissions for consideration for acceptance.
Again, we don’t have all the policies and guidelines published or updated, but as always, if you have any questions or have any suggestions for themes, feel free to send us an ask!
