It's so very hard for you to not feel affection for this girl. You think you might be unhealthily attached to her. Like maybe you might die if there comes a time where she's gone from your life.
You know that she works for a mob. You know that she kills people for a living. She's caused people pain and shed their blood and you know she'll do it again. But you also know she doesn't do it because she's evil or something. You know she only goes after people who have done some kind of wrong to deserve it. Even though you know this, you still don't like it.
But when you both fit together so nicely against each other it goes out the window and you don't even care. She kisses your face and scritches your ears and you can't not forgive her. She doesn't even have to know or ask for your absolution because it's already there.
You hold her tight and press your face in her hair to breathe in her scent. You don't want to forget it. You kiss her face and her smile warms you inside and you never want her to stop smiling. You want her to be happy all the time and if you can make her happy, you're pretty sure you'd do anything to make it so.
You like the feel of her fingers in your hair. You always miss it when they aren't. You always miss her when she isn't with you. But you know she needs her space to do her own thing and you can't hover over her all the time. That doesn't mean you aren't there for her when she needs you. You'll always be there when she needs you.
