Nick knew the wedding performance was a disaster. Perhaps the world was not yet ready for his, errrm, immense talent. But, really, Snug and Starveling and the others (Peter, excluded, oh how the poor man really should've let Nick play the lion too) did the greatest damage. But just the same, Nick sat and recited lines from a play he had only told people he memorized. He didn't, in fact, have those lines memorized. Looking up, he saw a most familiar face.
