Oh, Splatoon weapons asks? What are your thoughts in the new stringer and splatana introduced in this season?

I actually hadn't tried either of them in an online battle when u sent this ask so i took some time last night to play em for a few rounds haha
DECAVITATOR
-I LIKE IT
-feels exactly like the kind of melee weapon i would personally want in splatoon. big, chunky, risky, and a serious threat if u get too close
-killing people with the charge is SOOOO satisfying.
-it looks badass and the name is so cool
-I don't play any of the other swords at all, they just aren't my thing, but I will be playing this weapon for sure. I have a feeling it'll have a decent learning curve but with some practice could be a very scary weapon to fight (just like the other swords)
WELLSTRING
-A weird sledgehammer of a bow
-Also feels chunky and close-range, so it definitely adds some variety to the bow class
-the range is shorter than you'd want but this thing hits like a brick if you can time ur shots right. I got more splats than I expected on the few games i played with it
-the charge mechanic is fun but feels a bit awkward to me at the moment. you wanna fire just after mid-charge for maximum damage, but if you're even a frame early your shots won't be fully charged, so it has this timing cutoff that to me just feels weird
-that being said, I do think it's a cool weapon and will probably use it again
