Happy New Year everyone,

i thought it was probably best I write a little update about my writing, life and everything else...

so for those few people who actually sent through Ash's Fluff Fest asks... i'm really sorry. My Muse was not playing ball! I really hoped it would but every time I sat down to write I couldn't make the words come and it was just a complete blank.

as we are now past christmas i've deleted the asks and my inbox is now completely empty.

i just wanted to say a little thank you to everyone as well, i know i've been very haphazard with my writing and asks and you guys have still dillgently followed me and sent asks through and I feel horrible that I take forever to answer them.

i do read them almost straight away but i just... i'm so exhausted lately that writing replies actually takes a lot out of me especially thinking about replies to some asks, and some have just completely baffled me.

I am in my last 5 weeks of pregnancy now (seriously... 5 weeks... it's INSANE!) so my time online will be less but I will do my best to answer asks, if my muse cooperates then I will write and I'm hoping once Little Miss arrives that I might have some mental capacity at some point to start getting back into writing properly because I do miss writing and miss interacting with you guys but at the moment i know I need to rest because anything i'm writing is just drivel and you guys deserve better than that.

hopefully by the time we find out that Season 4 is in fact our beloved Benophie and we have our Sophie cast my muse will be back.

I will, provided there is still the interest still look to do something for Benophie week but i'll post something on that site in a few weeks once little miss has arrived and probably see if anyone can give me a hand in organising it since I will have my hands full.

I know it's going to be during Part 2 of Bridgerton Season 3 but I am sure we can still do a little something if people are up for it but again i'll ask the question in a few weeks.

but Thank You everyone who continued to follow me and interact with my works and my blog, to those who found me and started to follow me last year.

I love you guys so much and I know 2024 is going to be a good year!

AO3 is now back up and running.

i've had to cull over 50 pieces of work that were compromised. I didn't get a list of what it was i just got an email to say they needed to be deleted and i had to agree to get my access back.

i've gone from 322 works to 243 but i can see that most of my big stories, most of my worlds are still there...

I do know that all the Smutmas pieces have gone, i can see that those series are gone. MTTY, Fortune Fools and Until the Sky Falls Down have also gone.

MTTY i still had saved which is why it is moved over to WattPad but UTSFD I didn't have saved anywhere and couldn't get access to the story so I am sorry but that has gone.

I think for the most part it is smut that has gone...

clearly whoever hacked my account didn't appreciate the Smut and it had to go.

As I said before, i think going forward any smut that I write that is a one shot will just be shared here rather than AO3 because I am not going through this again.

I am sorry if anyone has lost a favourite story but believe me. no one is more pissed than me.

My Password has been changed. I should really change my username but I can't think of one to change to... so if anyone has an idea please let me know...

Ash's writing update

So next week my AO3 reopens, I won't be posting any updates straight away as I want to sort out the mess that's been left behind but I'm making some changes to it going forward.

i've got a few stories already finished so those will be posted as and when.

Some stories will be removed completely from AO3, I am not sure which ones yet but some may just be deleted completely, some I may moved to WattPad, just after the hack and what fics i know for definite that have been compromised a lot of my Smut is what's been plagued so these are what are moving or going.

I think going forward, any smut will likely just be posted here, some I will post on AO3, but I don't think it's gonna be much.

As for future stories... I am not sure what the crack is with them yet. My muse isn't cooperating so i've no idea if anything else will come once i've finished posting my current stories.

but posting will not be as often, I won't be writing as much, i'm just... losing the love for it, so i'm just going to write when the inspiration hits.

the drabbles that i've got i will write but honestly...

i've been thinking about this for a while, for nearly a month and I think i'm nearly done...

it's been coming for a while but i'm nearly there...

Not sure if it will be for good, or if it's just until the season comes out and we get a new story to work from but I think we're coming to the end.

i used to enjoy it, i used to get a lot of love and buzz from the comments, the engagement from people on here and it's just...

i get everyone is busy, engagement is low because we're not getting Benophie next, we're going to have to wait another 12 months if not longer...

I wrote what I wanted to write and people seemed to love it and that might come back when people come back to the couple and the show but I don't know...

I still love Benophie and nothing is going to change that but i'm falling out of love of writing...

I am one of those writers who thrives off feedback and engagement, as much as I didn't want to admit it... it's the truth. the more people engage, the more I am inspired to write...

so i guess... it's just... time.

so I will still be here and posting the updates i've got and I will finish Power of Love but after that...

it's anyone's guess...

but I'll still be here on the blog, so if people have asks they want to ask about my stories, things they wanna ask about anything... feel free but for now...

I guess this is the beginning of the end...

Annoucement

So folks... we got a problem.

My AO3 Account has been hacked and has been suspended for 30 days whilst we are trying to resolve the issues.

i cannot post or edit any of my current work so I will not be able to post any updates until August 21st whilst it's been resolved.

it was brought to my attention when some of my works have been deleted, not sure how many have been affected so far as i'm currently working with them to get my password changed and account unblocked but after the big attack, this takes time.

So there will be no updates for Days Gone By or Hope for the Hopeless until after this time...

I will continue to write in the meantime and i may write some drabbles and just post them on here since i can't post anything on AO3.

I know you guys will be disappointed but i'm annoyed AF as this is not the first time i've had someone attempt to hack my account but this time they've been sucessful.

If any of my work appears on another site please report it, I have a WattPad account but there are only four stories on it: Wildest Dreams, A Million Dreams, Days Gone By and Hope for the Hopeless so two of them won't be updated.

they're the only works that should be anywhere outside of AO3.

Please be reasonable and understand that this is beyond my control and though i've tried to appeal the suspension, I can't even get into my account at the moment to change the password back, my email hasn't changed and they are working on it, that's why it's suspended.

whoever has hacked it, cannot change or do anything else on my account, on august 21st i will automatically get access back to my account as they'll send a new password to my email, and no one is getting into my emails cause that password is random AF...

so please...

I understand you will be disappointed with no updates but I am happy to answer questions and things for the time being but I am stuck, there is nothing else I can do until then.
