Summary: Sometimes the price of regret is the feeling of someone else's blood, still warm, on your hands, the hollow laughter gurgling in your throat, and the handle of the knife sticking out of the back that was so carellesly open to betrayal. But sometimes its price is five years of endless nightmares, cold self-contempt, and the words addressed to someone who is unable to hear them.
Notes: Happy birthday to me! And happy birthday to my english translation of Ashe's heavy character study fanfic! (Though it's probably not very happy for Ashe...) Anyway, it's one of the most beautiful fanfics that I've ever written for now, and I hope that I've managed to convey it in the translation too.
