"We need to split up,"

Jack looked at her as if she was crazy. "What? Why?"

"So you can go find your guardian while I distract her. She may be a decepticon, but I have neither my badge or suit, so for her? I'm just some squishy human. Even if I did try to tell her, she'd still try to kill me." She said in a low tone. "Soundwave told me all the cons I should avoid, and Airachnid? She was at the top of that list."

"That just means we shouldn't split up!"

"Damnit, listen to me burger boy!" He reeled back a little at the nickname. "If Airachnid figures out what we are, it'll be over the second she hurts you! You can't figure out the door yet, so if you get hurt, I'll feel it."

"What, and I won't feel it when you get hurt?" He snorted.

"You haven't so far," she shot back, going silent as something broke a twig far in the distance. "Jack…"

"Ok," he murmured. "I'm going."

Ashi hesitated before grabbing his hand and pulling him closer. It was a desperate kiss, not at all like the one from their first date. Both knew they very well could die, and with the argument still in the air, it only made their emotions more frantic. 

Finally, she pushed him away and smirked, trying to hide her pain. "See you around, burger boy."

Soulmate??

The day on the Nemesis has been the usual. The Vechicons working, Megatron commanding the ship, Knock out flirting with Breakdown, and Soundwave doing what he does best, research.

As Always, Ashi decided to train before she goes to her room.

Ashi is the only human on the Nemesis, the only human Decepticon that they work with.

How?

Soundwave took her under his wing when he found her as a child.

As Ashi changed out of her fighting Mech suit(courtesy of the Decepticon scientist) into her training clothes, she caught sight of her markings.

Or more specifically, a tattoo of a name.

She scoffed at the name and wrapped her training bandages to block it.she had no time to think about her soulmate.

It’s a phenomenon where a living being will have a name appear on their body the moment they are born. And the name is their soulmate, their true love.

Her Mother always told her that she’ll find her love just as her parents had.

Ashi shook her head out of that memory.

There’s no point anymore.

She decided from the moment Soundwave found her that she would no longer associate with Humanity.

All they did was hurt people.

How could a soul mate be something wonderful…when her parents are no longer in this world? Or the way the other humans treated her since that saddest day of her life?

She walked over to the training hall and began to attack the dummy.

Unknown to her, the name on her arm began to glow, signaling that her Soulmate is close.

When your soulmate is near, the name will glow to a rose gold. Then when you find them, they will turn red. Showing that they found their love.

Showing the name beneath wraps…

So this has been sitting in the inbox, since, like, late February early march and I haven’t gotten around to posting it because the first ask hadn’t been published yet. Parts 2 and 3 of the Ashi/Jack story have been requested/take place after this little bit, so hopefully posting this will give me motivation to finish it!

Ok! I heard about the Soundwave taking in an orphan and raising her as his own. I'm excited for this one! Care to share some snippets or examples please?

((Just a little snippet. It’s not fully done yet!))

Ashi raced through the halls, Ravage and Frenzy on her tail as she ran into her father’s quarter’s, a wide grin on her face. It was her 16th birthday, and she did everything as promised. “I got an A!” she informed him, and the mech took a moment to carefully take off the mask obstructing his facial plates and smiled down at her.

“Well done, daughter,” he told her, pride leaking in his voice.
