Y'know that little bit of control you have over yourself while under mind control ? ( I saw a control type tumblr post I just read into ) I wonder if charlie used it to keep cody out of this . Like he was ordered to get the entire town , wouldn't that include cody ? It obviously would've been very easy since cody hadn't suspected something really bad was happening yet , though hes been suspicious lately . Which is why charlie immediately walked away . You could say " oh but why would he need cody he's just a kid " didnt the phones spread to the *entire* town. That would include the kids , not to mention frankie being the main one searching for cody and it's not because frankie's really smart . Charlie does think very highly of his son . I just thought it was sad , he tried his best to keep cody out of this , especially not chasing him down when he could mess up the " project " and even telling kade to stand down. It just really shows how much Charlie cares for his son ( safety and well being etc )
