Aizu Hanko Nisshin-kan, one of the best of some 300 clan schools during the Edo era. You can visit this amazing reconstruction of the school in the city of Aizuwakamatsu, Fukushima Prefecture - “reconstruction” because the original was destroyed during the Boshin War in the mid-late 19th century. The school was used to teach the sons of Aizu’s samurai. Today it can teach visitors a thing or two about kyudo (a kind of archery) and the meditative discipline of zazen (and yes, discipline is required to hold gangly legs in the correct pose)!

Disfrutas hasta último minuto el lugar que estás visitando? . En Tokio el último día amanecí muy temprano y me fui a caminar por ahí antes de partir. Este edificio lo habíamos visto en todo nuestro paso por Tokio ya que estábamos hospedados en Shinjuku y en lo único que pude pensar cuando supe el nombre, Cocoon Tower, fue en la película.❤️ La ví incontables veces y fue de esas pelis que lo marcan a uno y cuando la recuerda vuelve el tiempo atrás en dónde uno está sentado frente al tele, disfrutando sin interrupciones más que el de una publicidad o propaganda.😍 Esta no es la que más me ha marcado, pero si forma parte del conjunto de pelis que están guardadas ahí! Cuál es esa peli para vos?🥰 . Btw, Tokio es enorme, y cuando te digo enorme apretá el pomo! 🤣 Shinjuku es quizás uno de los barrios más típicos para hospedarse, pero hay otros que también son super bonitos y con cosas para hacer. Wat Prayurawongsawat Worawihan, known in short as Wat Prayun is a 19th century Buddhist temple complex, located near the Memorial Bridge (Thonburi side) in Bangkok, Thailand. 😊📸🙏🇹🇭💛 Greetings and have a fantastic day all. ~~~~ The temple was built during the reign of King Rama III of the Thai Rattanakosin Kingdom. He was the king of Siam from 1824–1851. Rama III was the elder brother of Mongkut who succeeded him as King Rama IV in 1851. Rama IV became famous beyond Thailand, after being portrayed in The King and I film and stage productions. Somdet Chao Phraya Borom Maha Prayurawongse (Tish Bunnag) dedicated his own coffee estate to build a royal temple. Hence the name "Prayurawongsawat" in his honour. Wat Prasat - Classic Lanna style temple in Chiang Mai, Thailand 🇹🇭 💯😊🙏🛸 Greetings and have a fantastic day all The Wat Prasat in Chiang Mai was probably founded towards the end of the 16th century. The Wat Prasat temple contains an ubosot (ordination hall), a viharn (prayer hall) and two chedis (pagodas). The ubosot, viharn and one chedi are constructed in a straight line. A unique feature of this temple is the short tunnel that connects the viharn to the chedi behind it.
