For your first question; I’m still toying with some lore ideas! Some of this is brainstorming on the spot… I want to get a little dark per FNAF theming but still be feel good for most of the time… so warning for dark themes/child death/gore etc!

I’ve been a bit inspired by ‘Sandman & Dr. Sunshine’ from stup1d_rat on AO3… plus Inspector Gadget and Defunctland’s recent ‘Living Animatronics’ video essay funnily enough! I can’t help a bit of Cabinet Man/Polybius here too

I’m thinking Sun and Moon were originally one. With a string of break ins, vandalism and theft of high-valued robotics in the Pizzaplex and a company focus on R&D, Fazco. decides to invest in a security robot. The research and development funded by security and government investors gave them the opportunity to give the Daycare Attendant their new mode of operation, Eclipse.

Eclipse at this time is not a new personality, but a blend of Sun and Moon having a synchronization of emergency or security protocols.

After another break in of a couple teenagers urban exploring, Eclipse kicks in and tries to scare them off. The following kerfuffle results in weapons being drawn, another level of Eclipse protocol activating, and a messy death of these teens.

Fazco. has to cover their tracks, withdraw Eclipse, and remodel the Daycare Attendant. Sun and Moon are now being split into two during the remodel.

The fear, anger and whirlwind of negative emotions from both the teenagers and Sun and Moon being split result in Eclipse being born as a ghost. Meanwhile, the Balloon World arcade machine is under repair at that time (maybe even a victim of the vandalization), and is a prime host for Eclipse to take root.

After Sun and Moon being rebuilt, Moon has been given the remaining security programming to keep Fazco’s investors happy. Balloon World is repaired and set on the arcade floor. Eclipse is thriving on ruining kids scores and gaining strength and solid manifestation by the day with all the energy accumulated by Fazco’s daily horrors.

Maybe there’s another incident or two. Maybe Eclipse eats some people, sending him back to repairs, maybe he hears tell of scrapping his machine, and seeks out his old ‘brothers’ for help. Maybe they help steal him away before he can be scrapped and kept in their little hidden room. This is where I’m still thinking 🤔

I spent my whole lunch break typing this out oops. Stay tuned while I solidify them! I’ve been debating trying my hand at writing again, so there may be some experimental one shots in the future!

hold on, for your candyland au, is the y/n(if there is one for this) like a gingerbread pal/gal/...tal?(Idk the gender neutral term for it) Since that's what the player pieces kinda look like?!

the ‘y/n’ for candyland will be an unsuspecting explorer of some kind, dropped into Candyland unceremoniously a-la Jumanji…

I made some designs based on the colored game pieces here! And I imagine you are starting at the gingerbread tree/area (which will introduce you to Freddy… :3C)

“As much as I love you guys, I am beat,” you groaned.

Your fifth day working in a row, and the days have been seriously long. Between the surprisingly subtle politics of toddlers, cleaning up the messes that come with the job and keeping an eye on the actual daycare attendants themselves, its needless to say you’re ready for the weekend.

“H-hwah?!” you heard a squawk behind you. You looked up from your position leaning the wet vacuum, where you had been trying to get a seriously stubborn stain out of the cushioned daycare floors. You wish Fizzy Faz was banned from the Superstar Daycare so so bad… but of course Fazco would never lose the minuscule income that came from kids allowances spent on overly caffeinated colorful sodas while they had snack time.

Sun had a bewildered look on his face as he seemed to have dropped the incredible armful of stuffed animals he had been picking up around the daycare. Of course they were all in the designs of the various mascots around the Pizzaplex… sans the attendants themselves, apparently.

“Love us?” he squeaked, holding up his large gloved hands to his face plate, which seemed to become pinker by the moment.

“Sure, y’all are the best part of the job so far. I love the kids and all too, but I would’ve lost my sanity long ago if I was alone here. That said I cannot wait to get home- I’ve got a serious date with my couch tonight. They’re gonna have to peel me off with a spatula tomorrow.”

You dramatically slid down the length of your wet-vac, crumpling on the floor and sighing loudly.

“Oh no! We can’t have you melting on the floor!! You just managed to get the Fizzy Faz out, you’re gonna make a worse stain!!” Sun giggled, bounding towards you, stuffed animals forgotten for now.

“Besides- why have a date with your couch? You can stay with us instead!” As soon as the words left Sun’s speakers, they seemed to have sunk in and you heard the telltale blast of fans kicking on in his body.

“I-I MEAN! Not that it has to be a date! I mean! Moon is a sleeping professional! If you’re so tired you can rest in our room until the morning, and take your weekend tomorrow! I-I-I promise we can take good care of you!”

Sun’s large frame blocked a lot of the overhead lights as he stood at your side, casting you in shadow from your place on the floor. The way you had to look up at him, your place just under his knees, had him feeling dizzy.

“A sleepover does sound fun…” you hummed, contemplating your options.

“But I’ve gotta take care of the cats. There’s nobody to give them dinner without me, and I don’t want my babies to starve.”

Sun seemed to deflate at your declaration, mimicking your position and collapsing to the floor. You laughed at his antics, the sound instantly returning the smile to his features. He could never really be upset with a laugh like that around!

“Tell ya what,” you started, “I’ll try’n get someone to watch the cats on my next day off, and we’ll have a sleepover. Maybe a Saturday night, so they Daycare’ll be closed the next day and we can hang out the whole Sunday too! Just you, me and Moon.”

Sun bounced up off the floor like a spring, his motions always so animated like a living cartoon. It always impressed you with how fluid and self-assured they both seemed to move, like they completely understood the space they took up in the world.

“Yes, YES, YES!!” He danced a ring around you in excitement before stopping in front of you and leaning in close,

“It’s a date.”
