do you have a link for the cute smiling james currie video ?
Assuming you mean the soft james with a coffee cup set, that is from 3 Pizza Recipes Compared - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sVN7GncAKY8 He shows up verrrrry briefly like this around the 1:42 mark.
If you mean another photo set, please let me know and I will identify it!
What type of music do you like ?
i listen to pretty much everything i guess. well it depends on my mood, i can go from metal/hardcore music to classical real quick lol. but i do love all genres. i think it just depends on the actual song.
20, 21, 29, 40 for the book asks please
20: Best summer read?
Oh man, probably The Beekeeper’s Apprentice by Laurie R. King or Sputnik Sweetheart by Haruki Murakami.
21: Best winter read?
Pretty much anything by Murakami, so many have that winter melancholy feel but definitely A Wild Sheep Chase and Dance, Dance, Dance. Also the Thieftaker series by D.B. Jackson, since most of it takes place in snowy colonial Boston anyway.
29:How do you sort your shelves? (i.e. by color, author, title etc.)
Okay, I have the stupidest shelf organization. Once upon a time when I actually had enough bookshelf space for all my books, they were organized by genre, series, and then size. So a shelf for Japanese lit in descending order of book height with same series grouped together. Except one shelf is just for Murakami books organized by order of publication and one shelf is just for Sherlock Holmes-related works and one shelf is agricultural publications and you can’t even see these books because I’ve had to stack so many in front of them simply because I have zero space. So honestly any semblance of true organization has been lost, which is some kind of exemption from my hyper-organized personality. I’d love to have gorgeous photo-worthy bookshelves but even if I had the space, what makes sense to me just wouldn’t work for it.
40: Name one of your favorite books from your teenage years
I was so well-read as a teen, honestly. I really loved The Aeneid, The Scarlet Pimpernel (I still have my destroyed pocket paperback), Roger Zelazny’s The Chronicles of Amber, probably read Stephen King’s The Eyes of the Dragon a dozen times, same for Sabriel and Lirael, but hands down my true love was Tamora Pierce’s The Immortals series. I was obsessed with Daine and Numair’s relationship and they were the epitome of the perfect literary couple to me. I think I read the end to Emperor Mage about 6000 times and even rereading the series now, knowing exactly what happens, I’m like hurry👏up👏and👏kiss👏damnit👏

22: Pro or anti e-readers?
Pro. It depends on what I’m reading though. If it’s just fiction, e-books are fine. If it’s non-fiction, I want a physical book so I can stick tabs in it. I know e-readers have a highlight feature but I find tabbed pages more accessible and besides, I still really love having books on my shelf. I feel like the experience is different, too.
43: Are you the kind of person who reads several books at once or the kind of person who can only read one book at a time?
Ahahaha definitely the former. I’m usually reading 4-8 books at one time. I like having lots of different options to match my mood. Also it’s really satisfying to finish 3 or so books in short order, really ups the accomplished feeling. :)
