Uhhhh so this is really awkward and I should have brought it up sooner. But back in 2019 just before the pandemic started we (the Cringe Channel blog/Shameshack) got an offer from a relatively big online media outlet (not going to say which one) to do a podcast together. They wanted us to come in to do some test recordings and they sent a helicopter to come pick us up and take us to the studio. I guess they wanted to hype us up or it was just a flex, idk.
But yeah, the helicopter went down, some kind of malfunction I guess, and no one on board survived. I think it was on the news but obviously I wasn't really paying attention to that when it happened. I wasn't on the helicopter cuz I had a tummyache.
