so what beings exist in asterial op? what kinda nifty species live there? do you have cool animals?

Lots of interesting creatures exist in Asterial! Both humanoid and animals. I’ll go into depth about humanoid/elvenoid species another time, but here’s some brief descriptions of some of my FAV animals in Asterial you don’t find elsewhere!

Twisted spiders — giant terrifying arachnids that live out in Twisted Forest… they can grow between like 12 and 25 feet tall! Their necks are like as long as their bodies are and coil in on itself so they can stretch out their necks to catch prey. Super dangerous but FASCINATING creatures

Unicorns — I would love to tell you that Asterial unicorns are majestic beautiful horses with long flowing manes (those DO exist they’re just heavily domesticated and cross bred with regular horses), but they’re more like a rhino? They live out in Celestial Pine Forest, back in Where the Sun Doesn’t Shine, and they’re SUPER aggressive but generally solitary creatures. They bite too

Velvet butterflies — This is a unique type of butterfly you find in the Velvet Fields, they’re super soft and incredibly friendly little guys!! They feel like ACTUAL velvet, not that awful faux velvet that drives autistic people nuts /neg. They love people and will let you pet their wings if you’re gentle

Nimbus creatures — a generalized group name for all the animals native to Perzion City, they’re all regular animals but they’re fluffier and lighter (both weight and colour), and they jump super high! They look like clouds so they blend in, but they’re almost all endangered because of just how industrialized Perzion has become. They’re still on the outskirts of Perzion, though!

Cows — not just regular ones! We have cows that produce different flavours of milk like strawberry and chocolate, but also blueberry and stuff too! They were bred to be like that so they’re very clearly domesticated cows, but they kind of just roam in fields?? We’re not sure how they got out of farms

Dragons — OKAY SO THERE ARE A LOT OF DRAGONS!!! Dragons in Asterial are more like the size of your average house cat, but some wild ones in the far corners of Asterial can grow to be pretty big. Dragons change depending on their environment, so there’s TONS of different kinds of them. A town was overrun with toxins and dragons moved in after the people ran away and proceeded to learn how to use toxins as defense, so now we have poison dragons. Those are becoming a problem but yknow. Super cool little guys. Not easy to domesticate but people have done it so…??? They bite

Those are just a few of my favs! We haven’t even gotten into all the bugs i like. Or those giant snails. Or phoenixes! There’s soooo many interesting animals the human world just doesn’t have.
