sorry i didn’t reply straight away but i was honestly stuck trying to think of five real men i crush on. i could have answered in a heartbeat if it was viddy game men but i decided that doing so breakd the rules of mcm (not that I have any clue what the rules actually are, i just like to make things difficult for myself)

anyway the upside of my procrastination is that it is now monday so this is even more relevant!

surprising no one, first up is the ludicrously beautiful and talented Marwan Kenzari who makes me ache on a daily basis simply by existing

sharing the #1 slot is Luca Marinelli who is also too beautiful and talented for this world and condemns my soul a little more every time he smiles, talks, gestures or touches his face

next is Oscar Isaac because how can anyone perceive this man and not crush on him??? physically impossible. also the DILF beard he has in Dune has rekindled my lust

hmmm next i’m gonna go for Logan Marshall-Green because i have been crushing on him for literally two decades (!!!!!) since he was in 24 and the OC *sob* he is another extremely talented actor who doesn’t get nearly enough appreciation

picking a final guy is really hard but i will go for Adam Ramzi aka Aram Kirakosian who is one of my favourite porn actors. umm i could try to be fake deep here but yeah i just really like watching him have sex with other dudes

Hi anon I have no idea if you'll ever see this reply bc I only just saw your messages. BUT I'll tell you my take on it just in case.

Gender envy is the feeling I get when I see someone who embodies my own gender ideal. So for me, as a trans man, it's people who have the particular type of masculinity that I aspire to. It can cover all kinds of things from body type to personality to fashion sense. I'm also gay, so there are types of masculinity I'm sexually attracted to, but gender envy is a separate thing. It's "I wanna be like him" rather than "I wanna bang him". Luca happens to inspire both gender envy AND intense attraction in me, damn him.

It may not mean the same thing to everyone, for example I know lesbian fans who have gender envy of Luca or Marwan. I think for them it's still about relating to a particular masculine vibe even though their gender identity isn't male. All of us have both masculine and feminine aspects to our identity, and imho queer people usually have more awareness of these dynamics. But I don't want to speak on anyone else's behalf so this is just my best guess.

Sweet, savoury or spicy: it's a tie between sweet and savoury, like mainly savoury but I'd die without fruit or chocolate

Bubbly water, tea or coffee: usually I need coffee in the mornings when I'm working but being in hospital has reminded me what a basic need tea is lol

Something that makes me happy: being on the other side of my surgery at last 😌 I'm in such a fucking good mood despite being bandaged and sore. I dare say I'll be grumpy about it within a few days though 🤣

Okay, what's this show/movie, what's it about, where can I watch it, and will I like it. Also ♡♡♡♡ just because 😄

OH BOY 👀

It's The Old Guard, a movie exclusive to Netflix. It's about a group of immortal warriors led by Charlize Theron who travel the world fighting for good but in a sexy black ops way rather than a flashy superhero way.

It's an action movie and has a fairly standard action plot, BUT what makes it truly new and different is the approach to diversity and female perspective. The two leads are women, it's directed by a woman, most of the actors are European and/or POC, and it features a gay couple so it feels like a breath of fresh air. The fight scenes fucking rock and all serve a purpose in terms of plot and characterisation.

I do think you'd like it. Please watch it so I can yell at you about it. 😅 But you should avoid my posts about it because there are spoilers.
