ALRIGHT LISTEN

I know a lot of English VTubers default to Twitch, and I even get why they do! It's a cool place, it offers a lot of good options for streamers for interaction, raids are neat, panels are better than descriptions, it has a ton of plugins, easier to develop stream interaction for games, better stream moderation...

...

BUT I JUST-...

I CAN'T STAND THE ADS, MAN YEAH, I know, adblockers. I've tried them out, but they always break eventually. And even if not, my normal adblockers WORK on YouTube! (I mean, I have premium on my main, but I don't have it on my VTuber account.. anyway.) They don't work on Twitch, and it's crazy.

I NEVER end up defaulting to watching Twitch. It's aaalways just YouTube. The more ads they put in, too, the less and less I even bother looking at the site. 😭

I'm just a huge YouTube simp, and so I stay. ...I like the amount of stuff you can put on there, too, though!

The community tab has started to get me just as much interaction as my Twitter used to... YouTube shorts are fun to play with, and I don't go on TikTok enough either, so it's nice to have them on site... And just uploading a video sometimes on my main platform is kinda cool!

🤎 who do you most want to collab with?

I got this one twice!! I've been thinking about it for a couple days, but.. I guess I'm not super sure.

They always say never meet your idols, and I think I agree with that, so while I love people like Pekora or some others, I don't think I'd want to collab with them...

I guess if there was anyone I'd pick it might be Haruka Karibu? She feels like she has a very similar sense of humor to what I enjoy, but even more amplified. Might be fun!!

Pia is a professional. I wonder if you're confusing being composed and professionally distant to being mean? All of us do VTubing as our job, so we don't really have as much time to make friends with everybody we meet.

Though.. sending me this anonymously tells me all I need to assume, I'd figure you were probably saying some weeiird shit, tbh. 😂

💖 what's your favorite part of being a vtuber? 💔 what's your least favorite part of being a vtuber? I answered the first right before this BUT my least favorite thing..

Probably just a lot of the drama. There's a lot of clique stuff, a lot of people yelling at each other about what does or doesn't work in content creation, etc. It can feel hard to get along with some people, too.

I'm a social anxiety fueled nerd, so, that sort of stuff is pretty stressful for me..

🤎 who do you most want to collab with? ✨ how do you feel about tumblr so far?

I answered the first one with bigger people, but what about smaller ones, maybe? 🤔

I think a lot of them are people that are in other small agencies.. like Shiina and Yuri from Phase Connect, or Ophelia from VReverie. Other people I wanna collab with I feel like I could just ask, but I'm too socially anxious, with too low of a social battery.. 💦

Also, Tumblr is fun! I need to log in more and start actually setting up my reblog queue, but it's honestly kinda nice to be back! It feels so much more like a community here, it's great~

⭐ what's your biggest vtubing goal?

My biggest goals are kinda two-fold.

ONE! I wanna make a bunch of Live2d assets for people to use, at some point. I don't know when, I don't know what, and I definitely need more creative focus to actually do it, but I want to, because I think assets are a fantastic way to give back to the community!

And TWO! I wanna get sponsored by Nintendo, someday. But that's a goal I've had in content creation for a long time.. I'm a Nintendo simp.. 💦

There's a main overarching goal that's more of a passive thing, too.

I want to create a space that people can feel comfortable enough to relax in, and ignore some of the harder parts of the world. I started being a VTuber in a really stressful time, and it only feels like it gets more stressful by the day. I just wanna make people laugh, help them relax, and wind down for a few hours, when I can. 💕
