The fight between the other two witches started before Ledan could fully process what happened, what he got was that the dark witch he’d been reversing some particularly nasty curses from (which he supposed from Einarr’s perspective was enough of a motive) had attacked him and Ciara had stepped in to defend him. “Wait—” was all he managed to think of to say, not really able to think too clearly in the thick of the moment. He joined in of course, helping the fellow by pushing the man back with his mind, “Are you okay?” he called out to her.

Ledan scrambled around a little, fumbling over herbs and tinctures as he worked, hands shaking. “I’m fine.” he insisted, almost to himself as much as Dean as he picked up a lightly glowing purple powder. The hex had clearly started to take a toll on the nephilim, moreso than he was inclined to admit “I’ve just... I’ve not been sleeping well.” he lied. He cleared his throat a little as he added meadowsweet, sorrel, and cinquefoil to the mortar along with the glowing powder before beginning to crush it.
