Bruce calls Clark in late afternoon in the cave.

“Date tonight?” he asks right out the gate. Clark laughs.

“Yeah, don’t sound too romantic or anything,” he says, amused. Bruce rolls his eyes. It’s been more than two years dating and more than a decade of being in love before that. And with schedules like theirs, they have to schedule dates so they actually see each other out of League meetings.

“I’ll wine and dine you real nice,” Bruce says. “How about it?”

“You know it’s yes,” Clark says, exasperated, and Bruce can still hear the smile Clark is trying to fight. Loves nothing more than to see it, hear it. “Alright, I have to run. The printer’s jammed again.”

“I’ll pick you up at seven,” Bruce says, smile of his own on his face. When he turns back from the Batcomputer, Dick, Tim, Cass and Duke are standing there with identical unimpressed looks on their faces.

“Yes?” Bruce asks. “You guys need anything?”

“Yeah,” Dick says. “Who were you talking to?”

They haven’t told the families yet. Not for any particular reason, but they kept waiting for the right time and after one point they just forgot about it. Bruce wants Clark to be there when he tells them, so he’s going to have to avoid again. Luckily, he’s good with that.

“A friend,” he says.

“A friend you wanna ‘wine and dine,’ huh?” Tim asks. “You think we’re stupid?”

“Yeah,” Duke adds, a little uncomfortable. “We actually wanna talk about this to you.” Bruce raises his eyebrows. Even Cass is glaring at him.

“Um,” he begins, and Dick interrupts him.

“No, you don’t even start,” he says, wagging a finger. “I won’t let you go on a date. This has to stop. Do you know Uncle Clark’s been in love with you since forever?”

“Dick-” Bruce starts again.

“No! He has! And he’s been coming around a lot lately, and the way he’s been looking at you in the League meetings is close to intolerable. And you- you’ve been doing it too, I’ve noticed. You keep glancing at him, and like- I don’t know, you flirt with him! And he’s been over here so many times lately. You’re kinda stringing him along, in my opinion. He’s a nice guy! I won’t let you do this. I won’t-”

“Dick!” Bruce interrupts. Clark is going to have a huge laugh over this. “We’ve been dating for- almost three years now.”

Dick scowls. “I don’t care, I. Wait, what?”

“We wanted to wait before we told everyone,” Bruce says. “It just kept getting put off. But yes, we’ve been together for some time.”

“Some time?!”Tim yells.

“Okay well-”

“No...” Dick says, looking horrified. “I owe Jay money now.”

Bruce narrows his eyes. “Did you guys bet on my love life?”

“No,” Dick says at the same time Duke says, “Yeah, Jay said you and Supes were, um. Doing it. And Dick said you were too repressed for that.”

“We’re going to talk about this later,” Bruce says after a moment of silence. Dick has thrown a palm over his eyes, and Tim and Cass look endlessly pleased. “I have a date to get to, if you don’t mind.”

Based on my notes (because I don't remember that fic) it was a fic where Peter is alone on Valentine's Day, and he decides to use the day to take himself on a #masturdate. Basically, it's a self-date where he does a day of self-love and spoils himself and while he's getting off with his new purchases, Tony comes into May's apartment and catches him and says "Hey, Peter what are you… Oh, you have got to be kidding me this is pitiful."

I did concert band 5th-8th, and colorgaurd with the band in 9th grade (band camp, competitions. Etc...) and only quit cuz I was bullied out.

I really call myself one cuz I went through the struggles and such but loved it.
