this ask gave me SO MUCH UNLIFE (pun absolutely intended.) I was already in a goth mood for "reasons", so when I saw this in my ask I was like:

At first I had thought to go with Jacob and Dottie, ngl, because since I wanted to go with the whole Romantic And Victorian Goth aesthetic, they would have fitted to a T.

But then I realized that they would have been put in garments too close to what they usually wear already (plus, I already had some sketches in the making for them to be vamps, so I didn't want to repeat myself again).

So I thought.

MY ADORED UNITY BABIES as Vampy- Vamps, rocking that XIX Century Romantic vibes (ngl they are my romantic couple. Like, if Jacob and Dottie are romantic, Arno and Colette are hundredfold that).

So, there you have the results of my sleep-deprived brain. I got a tad carried away with the shading, but it soothed me while working on it, so I guess I was doing some therapy lol. Also, fml, Jacob is not the only one that can rock a freaking top hat. Arno "Walk Walk Fashion Baby" Victor Dorian CAN and WILL rock a freaking top hat, or Nemo's not my name forevermore.

Look, if you can manage to do enough mental gymnastics to find something to defend Itachi about the massacre, that's cool…you have the right to like Itachi, he's actually an interesting character to explore… Regarding Sasuke, yes it's quite sure that if Itachi would have choose to fight with his clan during the riot, it's also practically sure that innocent children would lose their lives, unless the clan have been prepared for that and decided to keep them safe somewhere. Yes Sasuke would probably have died, but the life he lived and all the trauma that ensued was not a better solution and moreover Itachi tortured him again and again, wtf dude.. How do you think he lives his life today? Do you think he is doing well? He will always be traumatized and sometimes death is a better way out.

So. Unfortunately I don't truly have "pocketwatch" in my current chapter, mostly because I tend to use "timepiece" to indicate it. So, if that's alright with you, I will share something with "timepiece" in it, still belonging to my "In the Heat of The Moment" story, only a little farther ahead. (just consider this is a WIP tho)

As soon as the door was closed behind them, Dorothea turned to look toward her cousin, finally able to let go of all pretenses. “What happened, Charlie?” The young man kept his terrified gaze on the timepiece in his hand, the ticking sound almost maddening in its rhythm. “Charlie, pleas-“ “Uncle Crawford had ordered an attack on the territories controlled by Jacob this morning. He has found their hiding den. He has found their train. He has found him.”

do you believe that hotch is a good father?

i believe hotch is a good father ultimately, the only times i thought his actions as a parent were questionable were:

1) when he gave up the chance to retire after haley's death...it was too soon in my opinion for him to return to work and i just didn't understand it

2) when he let beth watch jack. again i felt it was too soon, to me beth's character as a whole was questionable, at least in the beginning and i felt he trusted her a little too soon

just my opinion and observations plz i don't mean to offend anyone

I DO believe he was trying to be a good father. I mean he knew he wasn't, ultimately we all knew he was not the best. In the early seasons he was never there for Jack or even Haley. I think that Haley's death put into prespective what he knew he was losing (that being Jack). His action as a parent were questionable yes, but he had Jess to help him with Jack, because we know that no matter what happened, Hotch was more married to his job than he ever was to Haley, he needed to help people. I don't think (and this is just my opinion, also i spent way to much without rewatching the show so i'm taking this from memory) Hotch decision to leave Beth with Jack was rushed, that only meant one thing: Jess was unable to take care of Jack or that Jack himself wanted to stay with Beth as he was trying to open up to another figure that wasn't his aunt or his father's friends. And contrary to what you said (my opinion again) I think that most of Hotch and Beth's relationship was beneath scenes we didn't see, just like Will and JJ's.

Overall I'll always stay with what Hotch said, ultimately defining himself, when he said soething like: "When I arrive home I know I have to be the best husband and father, because when the phone rings I'm out of there and I became an agent"

ah, *sighs* this makes me want to start writing again on regular basis but i wish! i really wish! my writing side of the brain would wake up faster because college and online classes make me stressed out. plus, when i write a letter, even though it`s extremely & painfully shorter than a 40k word count fic by other wonderful writers, that lil paragraph i write always comes from the sincerest part of my heart. i don`t want to sound like a brag in my letters, or a top shot flexing my english skills. i want my writings to be easier for the eyes, the person reading, & their thoughts.

also! please don`t be shy to give a lil shoutout sometimes, it makes us feel better about ourselves & our writings. and, i hope my letters continue to give you and everyone who comes across this blog a tiny bit of comfort in their fast-paced lives. thank u very much. i hope you`re doing well :)

居老师 -  Jū Lǎosī is one of the nicknames that fans often use to address Zhu Yilong. It’s actually originated from how you pronounce Zhu Laoshi in Wuhan dialect. 

Zhū in Wuhan dialect is pronounced as Jū / Laoshi is pronounced as Lǎosī.

This nickname became such a popular nickname during Guardian period. 1 or perhaps 2 reasons could explain why it became popular:

1st,  Zhu Yilong is from Wuhan. 

2nd, provided as below lmao

Because two dorks were bickering like an old married couple over how to pronounce names correctly in their very own dialects
