Are there many giantkins? And what does it mean to be a giantkin?
Between Tumblr being a right pain in My ass and My Cat getting in the way of Me updating this answer, editing this post has been a right pain in My ass this evening! Anyway, hello there Anon, and Thank You for sending Me this ask! You're the second Person here recently to ask Me about Giant related stuff, and that makes Me happy!
In regards to the number of People out there that identify as some kind of Giant in any sort of way, I couldn't tell You. While I have been part of the various communities that may or may not fall under the Otherkin Umbrella for a good long while now, I've only truely started learning about the various terminologies that exist and the way various people organize into proper communities for the past couple of years. As far as I'm aware, however, the Giant community doesn't seem to be as visible or as organized as some of the other groupings, but I could be totally wrong about that. I actually hope I'm wrong about that. As for My own personal experience, I've only ever met a few other Giant folk over the past several years, but I'm starting to notice more and more Giantborn and Giantkin starting to show up and become visible here more recently, which I think is great! I'd love to meet more Giant folk!
As for what exactly is Giantkin, or even Giantborn for aht matter, that is going to depend on whom You ask. For My own personal identity, Giantborn is Someone who was Giant in some kind of way in a past life, while Giantkin is Someone who identifies as some kind of Giant in any kind of way. I primarily identify as Giantborn due to the non Human past lives I've had where I was a Giant or at least part Giant, while I also identify as Giantkin both because I identify as a Giant (as well as a Fairy, but that's different, though connected, at least for My own identity), as well as being related to certain Mythological Beings considered Giant or at least part Giant through My ppersonal ancestry.
