Your recent reblog reminded me, how did you feel about the theories that Viren either put Harrow's soul in the bird or in a cursed coin?
Also, if you're willing, I'd be super interested on your take (headcannon, one-shot, art, ect) of either senario
"Harrow is the Bird" is definitely a classic TDP theory.
From economic storytelling POV I never really saw what it would add to TDP. I always loved how profoundly sad it was when Ezran and Callum had to face the harsh reality of their father's death. One of the reasons besides Aaravos and Viren's intense homoerotic chemisty that made the season 2 my fav season. Harrow managed to be on of the most impactful characters in TDP despite the little screentime he had. I thought bringing him back would be kind of a disservice for his character. At the same time I really miss him and I do like the idea of getting more Harrow scenes, especially with Viren.
It's a neat theory and Viren would totally do something like put a man in a bird . When it comes to headcanons I once entertained the idea of writing a fic where Aaravos was the one who brought Harrow back to get into Ezran's good graces (for manipulative reasons of course). I never got around writing that becuase I had a gut feeling that Aaravos was way too antagonistic to treat Ezran even with a modicum of respect and now we know the canon agrees.
Also if Harrow came back it'd be really funny to see him desperately struggling to grasp everything that had happened during his dark magic bird coma.
