For the weirdly specific stuff: 6, 13, 15, 20?
Yay! Questions! Thank you so much for sending me these. ^^
6. One sound you can’t stand? In grade 8ish I started using my iPod’s “old car horn” tone for my alarm clock because it is loud and jarring and impossible to sleep through. This has the unfortunate side effect of making me hate the obnoxious wail of old cars which wouldn’t be such a problem if my dad wasn’t really into car shows.
13. What’s one slang term you refuse to use? My friend says vagoo instead of vagina and every time I hear it I swear to god I feel my ovaries wither a bit in disdain.
15. Hardback, paperback, or e-books? Now this is a HARD question. All three have their merits and downsides. Hardcovers look gorgeous when you’ve removed the jacket and line them up together on a shelf. They hold the book smell better. They aren’t very convenient and I’m clumsy so they hurt real bad when I drop ‘em on my face. Paperbacks are easy to carry, I can shove 'em in a purse, they’re cheaper, and look okay lined up on a shelf. However they’re the most likely for me to ruin in a bath, warp and crease, and worst of all rip. Now ebooks are amazing because I have a the fantastic Kobo H20 ereader and I cannot recommend it enough for the bathtub reader like me because you can submerge it for 30mins in up to a meter of water. Ebooks are convenient, cheep and customizable. I can read in the dark. But sometimes I miss the book smell/feel and I want the aesthetic and feeling of pride of owning books. If I had to pick just one- my ereader would be a top contender because I can turn the pages with my nose.
20. Spicy food or non-spicy?I can’t do spicy food. I’m a sad useless child. I like food well seasoned, but I really can’t do hot spice. x.x
Again, thank you for sending me these! They were super fun to answer. I hope you have a great day! ^^
