“Do you feel like a young god?”

brins eyebrows furrowed in confusion at the others words. she hadn’t a clue as to why she’d ask her this. nor did she have a clue how to answer. staying silent for a moment, brin let her gaze moved to her shoes. she pondered back and forth as to what to say. she was never good at conversing. in fact, it made her uncomfortable most of the time. especially around strangers. finally though, she parted her lips to speak. 

“no. haven’t even felt young in years and i’m only twenty six.”
