Could you please explain your “Xbalanque is an outlander” theory(ies) I am SO intrigued
Honestly, I don’t have any concrete material proofs (we’re talking about Xbalanque, after all). Really, this is not even close to be a theory and is more a big “what if”. It all started as a joke, mostly because we don’t know his origin and where he came from. But, the more I think about it, the more it makes sense. Because Xbalanque is an enigma. We know of his deeds, but nothing of his real motivation, the real thing that was driving him to be this needed hero for humanity. And, I can’t help but see parralels between him and the Twins. And I’m talking about both of them. Like the Traveler, Xbalanque is this powerful being, who can do anything and can resolve anything. Like the Abyss!twin, he was driven by of strong sense of, justice? I don’t know how to call it, but his strong obsession to defeat the dragons, to defeat Xiuhcoatl, it remind me the Abyss!twin’s obsession to re-create Khaenri’ah. A desire so strong and imposging that whoever is around them are not influenced nor motivated by them, they feel obligated to do what they want, to make sure that that dream came true. I wonder if Xbalanque was called into Teyvat, just like the Abvss!twin was. By whom I don’t know, because the first answer it came to my mind is: Kukulkan. It was on purpose? Xbalanque just happened to be outside Teyvat’s dome or he sensed something? Uh, while writing I’m realizing this is a bunch of nonsense and I probably haven't answered you. That’s the problem with Xblanque. You can theorize anything about him but, he will continue to have this aura of mystery that makes me wonder if he was actually real.
