"It's been years since I joined the military. This is a lifestyle. A tough one at that, but it's nothing I can't handle. We're at war. I've seen fellow soldiers, friends, die before my eyes. But that hasn't stopped me. If there's something I've learned through out my military career, it's that you play by the rules. Humans need to understand that; and we will make them understand.

"My family is torn, but standing. She's gone. Tarquin is all I have left... but at least I still have him. Hell, he's a soldier just like me. We could lose each other any day, any time. I'm not naive enough to think that's not possible. Perhaps Tarquin is frowned upon in his platoon as of now, but I know that one day, he'll be strong enough to turn that around."
