(Although I was the first of us to free myself from those times...I sort of jumped ship without looking back. I just wanted to erase everything in my life that reminded me of how I used to live, and that included cutting off my friendships with you two.
I might have gotten overexcited about my independence back then, but now that things have settled down I can start to see the places where I got careless. Making the transition felt as natural as anything to me, but it might not have been as easy for others...)
