Peggy knocked on the door, gentle smile on her face. “Mind if I join?” she asked. “I could use the company.”

Her eyes widened. The green blanket complimented her red hair. “Thank you so much. How did you know?” She knitted herself. “Did you make this?” It was quite large. Pepper wouldn’t have held it against him if the answer was no. “I absolutely love it.”

Toni smiled weakly as she tucked some stray hair behind her ear. She hadn’t looked up at him since they had started talking. Things had been horribly difficult, multiple missions had gone awry in the past month, relationships with the other team members were rocky, at best. But, she could hear it in his voice, she had seen it on his face, in every one of his actions over the last month, that he very very clearly had no intention of leaving her.She swallowed hard, but the lump in her throat only got bigger. Reaching for his hand, she finally looked up at him. “You,” She choked out quietly, “You, are the best thing I have in my life. I wouldn’t want to be with anyone else. I wouldn’t want to be loved by anyone else.” He was her safety, even when physically neither of them were truly safe, she trusted him with her life and she would do anything to protect him. @ask-whitewolfe

Sasha hated when his lover had to go away on Avengers business, especially the missions that where out of town, those were the ones that always took way too long in Sasha’s opinion. He grinned at the other man, letting out a delighted laugh when he was picked up and spun around. He cupped Bucky’s jaw and returned the kiss on the cheek. “I missed you too, love.”
He pulled back, his eyes narrowing as he looked him up and down, checking for injuries. “The mission went well I hope. You’re okay? Didn’t get hurt? Let me check.” He fussed over him, patting him down to check for injuries.
