I was reading your last post and something really caught my eye. Is it at all possible that Violet is not Bertrand's child, but Lemony's? Going along with the timeline of the Lemony/Beatrice break up. I am not sure there is any textual support, but it's definitely a thought to entertain.
I’ve talked about this theory here, there and right over there. When you add it all up, the idea does start to make a certain amount of sense. I personally believe Beatrice wasn’t completely sure about Violet’s parentage because she found herself in two successive relationships (Lemony & Bertrand) in a very short amount of time. So it could have gone either way. Eventually the three persons involved decided it didn’t really matter because Lemony couldn’t raise Violet anyway. It was just simpler for everyone to decide Bertrand was Violet’s biological father even though some uncertainty remained. Beatrice wanted more children ans Bertrand didn’t want Violet to feel “less” like his child than Klaus or Sunny.
