r.e. the 10+ ppl in my inbox feeling some kind of way about hozier:

a) bc some wires seem to have gotten crossed: i don't actively dislike this dude, fyi. i'm super on board with him in a political sense, from what i've heard/seen, and he's obvs talented, i just don't rly listen to his music; it doesn't do much for me

b) it's nice to know i'm not alone wrt the othering issue! wrappin it up in cutesy/benign language doesn't actually change what it is, which is probs why it's makin you uncomfortable even if yr not sure why (scottish accent memes fall on par here - it's punching down, and most ppl are capable of looking into the whys of that, but they won't lol)

c) take me to church WAS overplayed, but hey better that than ed sheeran (no i don’t take criticism)

okay, so should i assume this is coming from the same person sassin me over a days old hozier post in which i had the gall to call him middle-aged?? which, isn't he pushin 30? or is it just women over 23 who are considered old on here

short answer: no, i will not shut up abt how creepy the internet/wider world is about hozier

longer answer: talking abt irish people like they're Not Actually Human has Origins and those Origins are Not Good, sorry to Ruin Your Buzz and all (but, again: not actually gonna stop calling it out when/if i see it. bye!)

PUDD PUDD PUDD DO YOU REALISE WARWICK DAVIES IS IN THE HORRIBLE HISTORIES MOVIE (for like 5 minutes but they're good minutes). It's a fucking weird movie but overall very charming I thought? If substantially less factual than the show, but I suppose that's inevitable

IS HE???? god it’s so weird, i’ve seen zero promo for this film bar a five-second micro-ad that randomly showed up on youtube and had maybe two of the original HH cast present (alongside who i’m guessing are the Cool Young Protagonists?) thanks for the heads-up!!

Why is your name sugarjared and if Jared or Sam was to be a cookie, which one would it be?

 I chose Sugarjared because of this pic below, (also because daddy/sugardaddy/sugarjared?)And if Jared were to be a cookie, he’d definetly be a homemade sugarcookie, coated with extra sugar of course, and most definetly decorated with a gummy bear or something like that.

hi!! :) what’s the best fic you’ve ever read?

OOF my mutlishipper ass is all over the place with fics. I think the first SPN fic I ever read was a very old one based on season 4 I belive. This was over 8 years ago so I might be wrong, but I think it was a DeanCas series titled “The Melting Verse”. It followed Cas’ fall from angel to human, and since it was the first fic I read for this fandom I guess it made quite the impression on me. Eventually I also got into Wincest, because of this ultra angsty and tragically beautiful slowburn, “The Ballad of The Invisible Boy”. Never recovered from that one and went down the road reading tons for this pair as well. Till this very day, i still read for both pairs on and off but nothing like the first time :)But yeah, I guess everyone’s first is different. I always consider my first fics the best personal experiences ever, kind of like a kid’s first bike ride without training wheels lol. Sure we ride better made bikes throughout the years, but nothing like that first one.
