"I don't have any embarrassing stories. None that I feel like sharing with the whole world, at least. The most embarrassing one I can tell you is probably that one time I almost tripped as I walked up to someone we were about to kill. He didn't notice, though, so it didn't matter. Still felt quite embarrassing. My sniper did notice and he made sure to remind me every day for the next three weeks."

Mary never had friends. In fact, she was so disliked that on her thirteenth birthday all of the children grouped together to pretend she was non-existant. She was not disliked for her attitude or general outlook on life, no. She was hated because she was different.
Mary changed schools when her parents died, and everything changed. She met a boy named John Watson. He liked all the same things as her- except Sherlock. She had always been jealous of Sherlock, John’s only friend, and she had grown to resent the boy.
Mary waited on the swings like she always did. John would swing with her, talk and then they would walk home. But today, there was no John. Just Sherlock, and she greeted him with her usual coldness “hello, Sherlock. Where’s John?”
