“Ah yes, your power issue/issues. You see you have to activate your soul gem to activate your wish. I thought you would of figured by now, oh well. You see your power or powers can only be access through the transformation with the soul gem because it is based off the wish. In terms that are easier to under stand is that basically you can only access that true potential through the use of the soul gem.”

Jamaar stayed silent for a moment as he absorbed the information. He had been played, at least that’s how it felt to him. He had wished to gain mastery of his power, and that was given to him, but with a huge caveat. If the power was linked to his gem, that means he would have to run the risk of darkening his gem to access his power.

“Alright.” He said after a small sigh. “I was not using my gem so that it wouldn't darken, but I have three grief seeds on me. It shouldn't be a problem.” In a flash of light he was in a green and white suit with matching green tie.

First there was that strange game the fox had gotten in the mail. "Romance Academy 7" or whatever...she couldn't help but wonder what the other 6 in the series were, but she'd decided to put it into her vita.  If the fact that there was a note that said "Haha, she's your problem now" wasn't strange or ominous enough for the fox girl, it was the fact that a PC game actually booted up when put into a vita. Not having time to question it, let alone play right away, she'd stuffed it in her pocket...and headed out for work.

Of course there had to be a mysterious albino at the cafe today.  She could either confront him and say hi, or slack off and play on her vita, since she had such a good reputation with her bosses.

"Welcome! Welcome!" He shouted, sounding far too optimistic for his own good. "If you’re here for my ‘evil heists’, guess what, there aren’t any happening." Joker added, his tone suddenly becoming more serious and taunting. Stretching out in the chair he was comfortably seated in on the other side of the room, he sighed. Being on an elevated platform that over-looked the entire room, one wouldn’t just be able to run up to him without going into the back room and going up a flight of stairs.

His eyes stared at the other in curiosity. Were they not going to leave? Did they come here for another reason? Either way, he could use the company. Sort of. It was late, so it surprised him that they were even here. And by late, he means two in the morning. Placing his feet on the railing, he awaited for either their leaving or whatever words they were to say.

About the Puella Magi AU

Young Vader Eloha will start in a similar way as Oriko, because the wish she'll make will make her able to discover the true nature of the contract, Kyubey and the soul gems. Even though she'll get upset, her magic (wisdom) will allow her to control her magic, which will be more powerful than Mami's (though not as Madoka in the final timeline of the anime), because of her wish of power to protect people, and her nature (a god-like non corporeal being, created to be the almighty queen).

With this, she'll concoct a plan with Kyubey, to be able to keep her soul gem pure of despair, and balance this with her royal duties and normal life. How?:

Before making the contract, she will learn how to fight

She will design an efficient and fast battle strategy

Trace a plan to fight witches at certain places, to which they'll be teleported by Vader's ability

There is one more question: How will Vader fight witches, when she's going to be the first and only magical girl in the Switch World? Well: Kyubey's traveling to that dimension has already attracted witch spawning, so a magical girl is indeed needed. Kyubey can mix its magic with Vader's teleporting, to bring witches from other worlds to strategical places, where Eloha will kill them in a blast. 

Why is the witch slaying so urgent?: When she turns into a Queen, time for magi duties will be almost non-existant. To deal with that, Vader will fight tons of witches, earning tons of grief seeds. Mixed with her strong will (Which will rarely permit any despair to appear on her soul gem) will help her survive until the principal events of OFF. From that point onwards, she will be at risk of falling into despair.
