There was something behind him. The hair on the back of Raoul's neck was prickling and he could tell that there was someone behind him. It couldn't be... It couldn't be him. Of course not. He was just jumping at shadows.
Raoul whirled around. "You!"
There was no one there, not that he could see. Well, perhaps he was acting foolish after all.
// *gently pushes over url after all of the reluctance in the world and you dont have to do mine if you don't want to im sorry ily bbu happy valentine's angel*
Opinion on;
Character in general: Erikkk. I do indeed believe that we should pity the opera ghost; I honestly just want the poor guy to be happy. In no way am I excusing the fact that he has murdered people; I just strongly believe that he is deserving of the love and redemption that he had always been denied.How they play them: I sometimes wonder whether or not you do some sort of channeling thing, because when I read your replies to asks and such, I swear that I can hear Erik saying exactly that. The Mun: You are a precious human being. Gahh, just let me love you ;u; You're so talented and funny; your replies can go from to darkly humorous to pheelsy and heart-wrenching, and all of your own comments in the tags never fail to make my day.
Do I;
RP with them: Sadly, no ;;Want to RP with them: I would in a heartbeat, perhaps from another blog?
What is my;
Overall Opinion: You and your muse are just both perfect bbys and I love you both to pieces. The only thing I have to say is that I wish we talked more ;; message me on Skype sometime?
**Note: Mun’s answers are all to be completely honest. Don’t send a url if you don’t want brutal honesty
This has been an incredible few years for this blog, one where the fandom was small and on the verge of extinction especially when the only things you could find in the Gargoyles tag was nothing more than a weird cupcake just tagged that. But as I continued on with Brooklyn, I never expected to meet so many wonderful and beautiful (both inside and out) people that have made a huge impact on my life, who's characters left marks on Brooklyn that no other could.
These people that I mention are those who I would continue to follow, interact, anything and they make me smile when I see that they've made posts on my blog.
Go follow them because they're awesome.
Askcrimaniejones: Crimanie Jones was one of the few personal blogs that followed me after I reblogged some art from her of Lexington, she soon came out with a character of her own and the two began to interact with each-other, Brooklyn and I feel completely fond of the little lady. Sassy, kind, flirtatious--this girl can make me smile. Unfortunately they're on hiatus but that doesn't mean they can escape this list of mine.
Ask-Opera-Phantom: Granted while I have never interacted with Erik while on Brooklyn's blog, they're on the list because I love seeing this person on my dashboard. They were one of the few people to give my OC blog a chance and I will follow her to the end because she gives such a heartbreaking portrayal of the supposed Phantom that it nearly broke my own heart not to have her on my dash on every blog. Patient and friendly, this gal is awesome not only in her representation of Erik but awesome in the sense that she's a lovely lady that gives everyone a chance.
Archer-of-durin: When I first watched the Hobbit, I was excited yet fearful to RP with a Hobbit character. I know this kind person from her threads on another partner's blog and I was so fearful of following her cause she might dislike Brooklyn ("Who honestly hates me?" -Silence Brooklyn-)but to my utter surprise and joy, she followed me and our characters began a mutual friendship after a momentary disagreement. Brooklyn enjoys Kili's companionship and honesty, his eagerness to help a new friend out who looks too similar to a dragon.
Becauseimrichandican: This is another surprising addition to the growing Gargoyles RP fandom is none other than this fabulous David Xanatos blog. Now we haven't interacted much, sadly, but I'm working on fixing that and making sure that I follow the rules much better next time but not only is this blog perfect at capturing the Trickster card that Xanatos seems to be entrapped in. I love reading threads that she has with other characters and when I do I can sense Brooklyn's judgment of me just rise. They are fabulous and you should check this blog out because they are awesome-possum.
Bilbo-Of-The-Shire: Now I absolutely adore this blog without a doubt to the point of following this person on all of my other RP blogs just for the simple reasoning of seeing them on my dash. The mun is a sweetie and has art talent that belongs in museums and not on tumblr. Seriously. The representation of Bilbo is utterly bloody fantastic and I can't help a smile when I see them on my dash. I wanna try to have Brooklyn interacting with Bilbo but this is seriously one dang popular blog too and good reasoning--kind, patient, funny, talented, always generous--I can seriously go on.
Broadwaygargoyle: One of the first other Gargoyle blogs I can ever remember interacting with on tumblr. I was so stoked to RP with them, you guys, you have no idea. Broadway is a benevolent, cheerful, and always eating Gargoyle that occasionally needs the cheering up but a talk with his rookery brother can cause a smile on both their faces. Brooklyn is quite protective of Broadway and considers him a blood-brother but is not afraid to give him a warning when the blue gargoyle gets on his nerves. This blog is open to any fandom and loves to interact with anyone.
Cara-Morticia: I wasn't sure how this was going to go on, considering we were from two different fandoms but the overwhelming to interact with her forced my hand. Pleasantly surprised that she followed back but the fact that Morticia was an awesome BAMF lady that Brooklyn needed. It was from her that he realized that not all humans are alike, some are different and some even liked the way he looked (he's still in shock over that) but generous and willing to help, Morticia is one lady that deserves more love.
Cleavageandclaws: I first followed her in hopes of expanding the fandom crossovers that I had been diseased with at the time but worried that she'd come to dislike Brooklyn or even think of me as weird but as usual it went swimmingly well. Brooklyn and Black Cat interacted and teased each-other, even having a race across Manhattan/New York. Brooklyn is intrigued by her, especially matching white hair of her young age, and likes passing by every once in a while. The mun is a darling and though we haven't talked much, I have this utterly sense of admiration for her cause she's so sassy and witty in her responses. It's amazing, I love it.
Detective-Maza: Now this blog is on hiatus, unfortunately, but I am hoping that they will come back sometime soon. This Elisa Maza blog has been one of the longest-standing Maza blogs that I've seen in a while, sadly most stay for a while but then disappear. Brooklyn, already knowing Elisa, finds a partner in a battle of sarcasm and wit that he can trade with her. It's quite refreshing to him at least. The mun is an absolute peach and has many other blogs that you guys should definitely check out.
Easterelf: This blog goes way back to my original RP blog but I felt a type of need that one could only describe as a desire for watermelon or apples in a sea of sugary goodness (don't ask) so I followed them on Brook's blog as well. I have not regretted it...though Brooklyn has plenty of times. Doodle is absolutely precious to me (the mun!) but Brooklyn has mixed feelings about the elf. One moment he can be happy taking the little guy flying and the next he must squash the temptation to let the little one to fall when Doodle gets impish enough to call him "Stonybutt". Regardless we both have feelings--whether they be adoration or annoyance--for Doodle and the mun is absolutely insane. Wonderful insane, might I add. And her art is one gifted to her by the Gods.
Fun-Is-Spelled-Jack-Frost: Now this is particuraly the only Jack Frost blog from the Rise of the Guardians movie that I would ever dream of following because the mun and I go way back to our OC blog. Like many others on this list, I couldn't stand not seeing them on my dash when I would switch blogs so I began to follow them as well. The mun is like my Buddha statue (that was not meant to be insulting in any way, I swear!) and I worship the ground in which she blogs on. Brooklyn hasn't exactly been eager to interact with the Frost spirit, seeing as his dislike of any Child of Oberon halts him from acting civil to any as well, but that might change in the future. So go follow one of the greatest RP blogs on tumblr like evah~
Glitter-inthe-gutter: This was the second Darcy Lewis blog from the Thor movie universe that I had come across with and let me tell you the mun is lovely, yes yes she is...I hope she's reading this because I'm laughing evilly as I eat my cake. Brooklyn sees this particular Darcy as his type of little sister, one who he can trade sarcasm with but he does get worried when she disappears for periods of time but knowing that its just her all he can do is wait...and track her progress on the tracking bug he planted on her made by Lexington. In conclusion, this Darcy is the equivalent to a heaven-accented chocolate cake. What does that mean? No one knows, its a mystery. So why not go check out the blog yourself?
Kindle-The-Stars: Now I'll warn everyone, this is not an RP blog but a personal blog. However I read one of her stories on Fanfiction.net and I had fallen completely in love with it and followed her on my Brooklyn blog when I accidentally thought I was logged into my personal. None the less, we've talked and she has sent things in to be done whenever I've reblogged something and I quite enjoy it. Plus she travels so I kinda get my travel fix from her. If you want to read one of the greatest OC-Hobbit stories ever, go check out her blog. Won't regret it!
Little-wishingstar: One of my earliest followers is an OC from the Rise of the Guardians fandom is Asterope or Aster, the Guardian of Wishes. Asterope is a star that hears the wishes of children when one sees a falling star. She's absolutely darling and Brooklyn has a deepest fondness for her and had a bit of a crush on her which led to her nickname "Starshine". The mun is star-tastic! *hears crickets* Right. The mun, like most on this list, is an angel who encouraged me for Brooklyn's blog in the first place so she's the reason that you all have Brooklyn today. So you should definitely check her out because she's Brooklyn's angel.
Manhattantechie: Newest to the Gargoyles RP ring is none other than the green gargoyle with a love of technology is none other than Lexington. I was surprised yet estatic when Lexington joined our little group of Gargoyles RPers. The mun does cute little art replies when asked a question or in response to a thread, the art is adorable--I'm serious. Of course Brooklyn likes and even platonically loves his rookery brother but that doesn't mean that he can't get annoying when he does to something to grate on Brooklyn's nerves. Ah the joys of siblings. Not only are the mun and muse awesome, the theme for this blog is awesome and I'm pretty jealous. Some of you may go to this blog to find yourselves already following him, mysteriously thinking why didn't you remember doing this and shrug it off as a Tumblr fail while somewhere a green gargoyle is laughing evilly behind his computer after he finishes hacking yours...
Mardigraprincess: One of the numerous Disney blogs that I shall ever bow to is the one and only Princess of the Mardi Gras Parade is none other than the bubbly, pink-a-licious Charlotte La Bouff. Brooklyn was more than worried to interact with her but after a while realized that she wasn't gonna turn and scream down the streets screaming of the flying Devil that he took kind of an interest to watch over her, often regarding her with the nickname "Char". The mun is simply darling, understanding, and seems to interact with those outside the fandom. So go give some love to the Queen of Pink.
No-Need-For-Heroes: What began as a simple misunderstanding ("Seriously, I would have known if I had died!") between the Phoenix Gate and the lovely green river of floating dead people, Meg and Brooklyn became fast friends with his quick talk in order to mask his nervousness about meeting the God of the Dead. No bigggie. Brooklyn is excited to show Meg the things outside her BCE Greece but there's something else at play. While the two are friends, swapping wits, there also swapping of sharp tongues if you get what I mean ;) Regardless the mun is amazing and volunteers at a maid-cafe. How awesome and cool is that?
Ruffnutthorstonethebesttwin: I don't remember exactly who followed who first but I have never looked back since the two first interacted with each-other. They sort of have an odd sort of friendship that spans back to the beginning of his blog but Brooklyn has never thought that once he had to deal with the loss of his Clan that he would ever befriend a Viking...a Viking who owned a pair of dragons, he might add. But they persevered that made a lasting friendship even to the point of kidnapping her ("For her safety, I promise!"). The mun also puts a lot of work into Ruffnut including more backstory on Viking history, words, and even giving Ruffnut more of a personality that's kinda shown through the movies and series. You can either face Dragons or an enraged Ruffnut. The choice is yours. Choose wisely.
Sandofchaos: May I present the one and only Mistress of Havoc and the Dame of Destruction--Eris from the Sinbad series! When I first searched through her blog, I had realized I had spent a few hours looking through all the nifty stuff she had and headcannons. Eris is a very complicated figure and even she can make Brooklyn's brain tire out from the wit and sarcasm she presents. Eris is one of the most rounded character I have ever come across and even Brooklyn hesitates being near her. The mun, unlike Eris, is awesomely friendly and open to anyone. BOW DOWN TO YOUR GODDESS!
Sassiesandsmark: Brooklyn was at first a little weary of the flying human--excuse him, part fae slash part human--that delivered a very important if not dangerous item to him from another planet. His life got more complicated by the time Cassie Sandsmark from the DC Universe entered it. Of course while he was untrusting of this new stranger, I was more than not actually enjoying the fact that someone was actually annoying him. He always seemed to annoy others but I loved the turn around. And somehow annoyance became friendship which developed into puppycrush and transformed into hesitant love. Brooklyn is ultimately intimidated by the strength of his feelings for her and knows that a relationship would be strained by their situation. I enjoyed our late night chats with the mun and we often talk when we can :3 FEELS GO FOR THE FEELS!
Sireninthefire: Another blog I have found in my journey to interact with more of my Brooklyn's Disney brethren is the lovely and sassy Esmeralda from the Hunchback of Notre Dame. I did not expect them to actually RP with me because of Gargoyles less than profound impact on Disney but to my delight the mun agreed, though she was dreadfully busy, but Brooklyn has come to view the woman as a friend though initially he was afraid that her lack of approval of his demon-like appearance might make her cry out in, alerting the others and ultimately creating a mob that would kill him but thankfully she helped him out of the catacombs and out into the fresh air where he took her for a gargoyles-point-of-view of Paris. The mun is brilliant and puts a lot of time and effort into her RPing. Go check her out!
Subject-13n1: At first I wasn't really sure how this was going to work, I'll be completely honest. We had followed each-other in a silent deal through a mutual blog but I was nervous with this blog. An OC belonging to the Maximum Ride fandom, Subject was an experiment before she escaped with no idea what her actual name was other than her experimentation tag. Once again I'll be honest both Brooklyn and I found her to be utterly darling. From their interactions Brooklyn sees the winged human as a little sister and darn it if he's not protective of her. Unfortunately the suddenness of the Phoenix Gate has kept him from visiting her lately but he does miss her and hopes that she is having a good life. Mun is precious and adorable. That's all you need to know. Are you clicking the Follow button? Are you?!
Thebimbettes: The three lovesick triplets in the Beauty of the Beast movie that are the biggest fangirls of Gaston are actually quite good friends to Brooklyn. Going through my Disney phase I was a little excited to find that they were frequent visitors of my inbox and Brooklyn and I couldn't resist. He thinks them as amusing, certainly, but kind and stronger than he originally thought which made him define strength in different ways other than physical strength. I adore RPing with the mun, I seriously do, and she expands my love for the triplets and gives them an excellent and realistic back story, personalities, and such. We have this one thread going on that I love but because I've been a poop-face, I haven't replied in forever. So go check them out cause these ladies are kick-ass and worthy of praise, specifically your praise.
Thecuriousbrunette: One word--ouch. Feels. Pain. Fluff. Laughter. Tears. Squealing. Actually that's more than one word but I don't care. Allison Burlew is an OC blog but goddamn she is one of the best OC blogs I have ever interacted with. The girl has no superpowers or strict spy upbringing, she's completely normal and that's the draw of her. She offers comfort, love, affection, and much more. That's Allison's strength--quiet but loving. Brooklyn has been in love with her since they were accidentally married, have become mates and were engaged until something broke them apart. The gargoyle loves her a lot and keeps an eye out for her but wishes for her to have a normal human life. The mun is adorable and one of my dearly beloved friends on this entire site. Amazing, astounding, and worthy of praise (she artz too!), you should all be bowing at her feet or rushing her inbox to RP with her. Shoo. Go do it. Now.'
Valarmorghulis--valardohaeris: As I previously stated, I love to fandom jump. And Game of Thrones did not escape my eye either despite my reluctance to get into it. Seriously Sean Bean's character dies again. Will that man ever play a character that lives? I'm not sure. Anyway, I thought Daenerys would be intrigued with Brooklyn since he kinda looks like a dragon but unfortunately we have not gotten to the part where they have talked in our thread because I am a duck-butt but they are awesome and really deserving of more attention. Brooklyn thinks that also pretty ladies (like her) should not walk down dark alleyways alone with unsuspecting creeps (like him) is watching her from above.
Xranipari: A mix of book and movie verse this blog belongs to the one and only Queen Toothiana from the Guardians of Childhood/Rise of the Guardians fandom. Oh my Buddha, this blog is utterly amazing. Brooklyn and Tooth have this ongoing friendship where he will occasionally kidnap her, drink with her, sometimes ending up in awkward situations beneath the covers for both of them that soon melted into normality. They are the types of friends that teeters on love, hate, and mutual annoyance but are loyal to a fault to each-other. The mun is an absolute star--I have never seen such a person put so much effort and concentration into a character much like she does. And her mun FC of Brandon Urie is adorable/hilarious.
At nearly 200 followers and a new year, I thought I would finally show everyone my blogs that I would follow to the depths of tumblr.
I'm a little late to the game but I thought with the roll of a new year that this was the best way to enter it.
When I first began RPing about a year or two ago, I had no idea what I was doing. None what so ever. Anastasia was the first character I had began to roleplay and I was utterly nervous beyond all comprehension because she was an OC.
But I've made so many new friends on this site that have given me courage and companionship that I don't think I'll ever regret making an RP blog.
So here are the blogs that I will follow forever because they are amazing and you should check them out as well.
