Pulling out the weeds
Holy crap where did time go and what happened to this blog. URG I APOLOGIZE FOR ... WELL LACK OF POSTING ASKS?!
For one I had an issue where I didn't even realize that I was getting any asks?! It only came to my attention when dear MuninniguH, pointed out that she had fired an ask way back when. And when I went to check my ask box to see if I could find her ask, I found 19 submissions?? And since there aren't any time stamps I honestly have no darn clue when some of these were sent? So if you sent an ask in and I didn't see it aaahhh I am so so sorry. |^U
Second part, when I left this blog I was in the heat of my finals and between dealing with Organic Chem 2, Linear and Bio Finals, I wasn't fit to keep the blog updated. After my finals were over I started work (I work 12 hr shifts aprox 5-6 days a week) and sadly I left the blog to grow weeds. Urgg my apologies again, although please consider this is a past time and a hobby for me and that I have matters that I have to attend to in real life before online blogging. Not that I have been harassed by anyone in note of this blog, just hmmg I thank you all for your consideration thus far wehh.
About the BFOI Tournament, I've noticed that a lot of awesome competitors have dropped out. And I can understand why, especially after reading through some of your blogs. I doubt many of you will read this, but I hope you had fun while it lasted (and sorry I didn't get to meet all of you!) I also hope that future endeavors what ever they may be, go well and are fun filled n o n)/ In any case, I'm bringing this whole subject up here just to clarify what I will be doing in this years tournament (since I've already had a friend ask if I'm still planning on staying.) The short story is, yes I'm planning on still sticking around the tournament, and yes I have an idea of what I am getting myself into. I still want to see my character grow, and I still have a story to tell to an audience if they are willing. But I'm not going to take things so seriously. I'll be working on my rounds when I can in my own time. To me, the BFOI tournament is a fun side project when I'm not dealing with school, work, or my social life, and it is not meant to be a stress factor for me. However the tournament itself does take priority over the rest of my art fun, which brings me to my last point.
Because of the unusual amount of submissions I will be answering Askorrin asks through out the coming weeks, aiming to get one done per day, although I notice some are similar so I may end up grouping them together. In any case I'd like to point out that once the BFOI count down hits the 3 week mark to the end of R2, I'll be closing up the blog again until the round is over, so as to give myself sufficient time to work on my round. Like I said I'll try to get as many asks answered in that time, but some might have to wait.
Once again I apologize if you sent something that wasn't answered and have waited awhile to see it. I hope everyone has been well otherwise, and that this wall of text hasn't bored you to death yet.
