Helloo you said you want to pursue medicine but how do you go about preparing your portfolio I heard grades are not sufficient for one to study medicine in Singapore ><

Yeah.. having good grades are not sufficient :”) Firstly academic wise, it is recommended to take 4H2 and get almost all As for them. (which my grades are still so far away) As for portfolio,, ideally you’ll need a leadership position or some form of achievement or have initiated a SL project (service learning!). I don’t have a leadership position and I’m trying towards a SL project. For now I’m more focussed on getting my grades together because at the end of the day, regardless of how many achievements I can get, grades are a must to even be considered for medicine :-( (I’m considering pharmacy tho!) Also, a teacher recommendation/a good testimony would help greatly so just do your best and things will slowly fall in place :””)

hello! my l1r5 is raw 8 :-) i guess a short summary would be to plan your time well, know your concepts, and do lots of tys practices! && most importantly be confident :-) all the best for Os!! ₍₍ ( ๑॔˃̶◡ ˂̶๑॓)◞♡

Hi friend! :-) Hope you're free to answer this question! I'm sec 2 now and I was just wondering,how do you prepare for upper sec especially when there's so many more sciences,maths and humanites which stress me out.😧 Thank you!!!!

hello! im so late to replying but:: a good tip is to start early! build a good foundation for your sec3 work and it’ll be easier when school starts as you won’t be scrambling to understand everything when you have pre-read them before! For me, I took triple science, double math and egeog.. which is quite heavy but how I coped was to always pre-read and try to understand, especially for sciences and geography! If I come across something I don’t understand, I’ll ask my teacher in school! The starting will be hard, but as long as you keep your head clear and manage your time well, secondary 3 is conquerable! Hope you’re doing fine in school love :-)

its so hard to choose :-( some of my favourite artists are Lauv, LANY, Ed Sheeran, (can’t forget my now solo 1D boys HS n NH) G.E.M (for chinese songs)!! A few of my fav songs would be Find You by Mark Diamond, Secrets by Jacob Lee, A change of Heart by The 1975 and Liability by Lorde!! (maybe I’ll put my spotify playlist up soON!!)

hello! Thank you so much :”) I’m so late to answering this question but I chose JC mainly because I wanted to pursue a career in Medicine, and the only way is through JC (I think). Another reason is because in poly you really focus on a certain faculty and I’m not ready, given I am unsure what I want to do in the future! Of course, you can study something different than what you did in poly when you enter university, but honestly, I signed up for the jc life because I kind of liked the rigour of it :”) (on hindsight now I am dying but) I’m crazy,, I know.
