Hey mate! Why is Murdoc your favourite Gorillaz character? Alternatively if you’d prefer why is 2D your least favourite🤔 (I’ve seen you say you don’t like 2D very much so I’m curious)
I honestly think Murdoc chose ME because the way my brain switched after seeing him in the Cracker Island Music Video for the first time altered my mind in a paranormal and unexplainable way. That being said, I really liked the general grime and grit to him. My first introduction to him (if you dont count when I watched the Feel Good Inc. MV years ago.) was Cracker Island and Silent Running, so I had it in my head that he was this like... Comically goofy antagonist? And then I had complete whiplash as I looked into earlier phases and saw he was straight up evil at times. HOWEVER! I was also caught off guard again because there's actual depth as to WHY he's like that. He's just incredibly interesting to me, and I love characters I can dissect under a microscope. He's also insanely hot to me. And fum to draw. You can't go wrong with that.
As for 2D I don't mind him at all. Whenever I act like I dislike him, it's mostly a bit because haha Murdoc fan dislikes him duhhh. I will admit that I do find him annoying at times, in any phase tbh. But that's about it
