you need more canon characters. people want to write with characters they like and already know they're going to enjoy. oc's are more difficult cause you could like their bios but then end up not enjoy writing with them and it's just a waste of both your times. I only write with oc's of my friends who I've been writing with their canon characters, that's how I know for sure that I will enjoy their oc's. and people who rp like 90% ocs are always the most annoying self inserts.

So here's the deal - I want you to know that I don't owe you an answer but I'm going to just this once and I'm going to try and be as polite as humanly possible. Because maybe - maybe you didn't mean to sound like an ass.

Personally, I find canon characters harder to write because with them I feel I've got an obligation to deliver them a certain way. I focus so much on perfection that I don't have any fun writing them. The canons I do have are either canonically dead and/or missing too much info that I can basically make them mine anyway.

I'm glad you've found OCs you like and that you get a chance to write with OCs. But I need you to understand that every CANON muse was someone's OC once. And maybe - just maybe, they're a self insert. We don't know.

If you don't want to write with me, you don't have to. You don't have to follow me either. If my muses seem like self-inserts, -shrug- I don't mind too much. Self-inserts arent as bad as you think and sometimes they form into something new and stand alone. You never get a chance to find out if people don't write with you.

Anyway, your opinion is noted. But quite honestly I didn't ask. And tl;dr: I will continue writing my many OCs and limited canons and if you would like to get to know those OCs, you're more than welcome. But I have quite the feeling you don't want to be here and that's fine too. My blog isn't for everyone.
