the FF7 20th Anniversary video for the Snow Festival in Sapporo, Japan.
The BraBra concert in which Kitase and Nobuo both spoke about the Clerith date.
The first Mobius chapter written by Nojima being all about Cloud finding his Promised Land (while Aerith’s theme plays lol).
KH 2.8′s ending credits including Clerith in the romance montage.
World of Final Fantasy, which was made to “introduce” young people to Final Fantasy, literally had Cloud’s love for Aerith being discussed openly.
Itadaki Street: DQ x FF 30th Anniversary including a cutscene of Cloud speaking about his date with Aerith.
The ENTIRE FF30th celebration was all about Cloud and Aerith.

Meanwhile... What’s T/ifa (c/loti) got lately? The last REAL thing that y’all got was Nomura’s mobile game from 2015 that gifted players with Cloud and T/ifa’s outfits, which was canceled six months later (lol).
There is an Aerith/Clerith hype that Square Enix is pushing, and THAT is why Clerith has the advantage right now. Fact is, they very well could throw your fandom a bone and show some CT stuff in June, the thing is, they OPENED up with Clerith. That is a powerful message. And that message is that Clerith comes first. Just like it did in 1997.
