There are so many ffvii rpers out there that it sometimes gets hard to keep track of all of them, but when I found you (again, admittedly) I immediately remembered who you were because you have an interesting take on your Cloud. I like the way you’ve twisted the trope of darkness for your own uses. haven’t been following you for two long, but your art looks pretty dang cool. I’m looking forward for what you have in store for the future.
I have a few questions! Can you give any advice about lineart? Mine tends to be one thickness, thin, flat and shaky. At times my sketches look more dynamic and alive than my lineart! And how do you draw Cloud's hair? Have a lovely day dearie, I hope you feel better soon! ^^
Hi! Ah, yeah, sketches do look more lively than the final product... ALWAYS! boomchickfanfiction explained it to me once: “Because the multiple lines let our brains put together a picture that is more than one picture. An image with movement implied. A perfect combination of liveliness, brought to life by our brains filling in the gaps” sho smart <3 (ᅌᴗᅌ* ) its irritating that the sketch can look better than hours of work... Anyway! here’s a small gif to show how I make linearts. My advice is sure steady strokes! if a line goes too long just erase the excess!
