I didn’t know that..
Aster had gotten separated from their owner, and they were very nervous being on their own. Main Street had been bustling with people milling about doing their Christmas shopping, and when Aster had tripped over a passerby's shoe while following Abby, the girl had disappeared into the crowd. Aster, whose short stature didn't help matters any, had been running up and down the street looking for her for about half an hour, not thinking to check the theater on Main where Abby had a rehearsal, and finally paused to rest in a small alley. It was cold out, and a tiny bit of snow was falling. Aster shuddered, curling their fluffy tail around their side and lying down. Hopefully somebody would help them find their owner. Aster wasn't exactly native to Earth, and so they had no clue how to live on their own in this urban environment. @asksplendyandfriends
Come to Arizona and pet all the spiders and scorpions instead

Krista was at home working on her computer. She had to finish the month end paper work for the restaurant. As she worked; Krista noticed her back was hurting more and she was feeling slight twinges in her belly. She thought nothing of it for a while and kept working. After a while the twinges increased in intensity and were happening more often. Krista knew it must be the babies; but wasn't sure if she was in labor or not.

Earth had become quite a fascinating place for Patch once his old Dalek instincts had subsided. Most of the humans were more friendly and intelligent than he had been led to believe, and he quite enjoyed studying their culture and behavior. As he grew more confident in his knowledge of humans, he eventually began to leave the house by himself more often to explore on his own. Nature, too, was something Patch enjoyed observing. Tonight he stood out on the beach near the house watching the sun set over the ocean's glittering waves-an ocean teeming with life, which now glowed with the beautiful orange reflection of the sky. Normally the beach was empty this time of year because the water was too cold to swim in yet, so naturally he was surprised when he saw someone else at the shoreline nearby. "Greetings," he said as he approached the other with a calm smile. "This sunset is brilliant, is it not?"
shout-out to @asksplendyandfriends for helping me get my pictures ready for that giveaway post! My computer was being a butt and wouldn't let me import them from my phone, but through the power of teamwork we got past that obstacle!
