"Wasn't expecting to see you here." From behind Zhurong, a familiar voice comes out, belonging to Alp. "I haven't seen you since we patched things up."

He holds up the pail with a small shovel inside that he holds in his hand. "Did you want to catch up over some sandcastles?"

Zhurong turns around with a shocked yet gleeful expression. He showed joy to Alp despite their... past history. And yet Zhurong was willing to overlook that for their friendship. Or a mending relationship.

"Ah! Alp! I didn't see you there!"

"Yeah, it definitely has been a long time since... well, you know... that happened with the anons and stuff. But I'm glad you seem to be doing well with your guild!" He looked over Alp's shoulder, seeing that his friends were having fun in the beach.

"Say, what if we try to build a sandcastle and I'll take a picture of it afterwards? That'll look so cool!"

"And I'd really appreciate catching up together... Erm... Friend."

He considers teasing Cu Sith further, trying to see if he can get a howl out of him, see it for himself, just how destructive it is. But. . .he's, perhaps, comparatively well-behaved of a Nyarlathotep. For now.

Wow...they actually meant it. He had heard his father was gonna make the attempt to bond more, but he figured that just meant a text here and there. Yet, here they were, offering to make plans with him.

" I...I'd like that."

It would be nice to go out to eat. His budget usually only allowed him to buy instant foods, small snacks, and the occasional small foods at convenience stores.

Sitting down for a proper meal would be a welcome change.

" Just name the time and place!"

"Hey Hati, this is Jambavan. I was wondering how your lunch with Fenrir went; something always comes up whenever we wanted to ask him or when he's about to tell us (just our luck), so I thought I'd have better chances asking you."

" Oh- hey, Jambavan! Been a while since I've seen you. Hope you've been holding up well over at Ueno."

" As for my father...we're making progress. He actually said more than just a few grunts here and there. I think it's cause someone actually openly told him my intentions. You don't think he was just oblivious in my past attempts, do you?"

" Well either way, progress is progress. Lunch was good, and we even got the chance to catch up after all this time."

A panda therian approaches Zhurong, looking off to the side. "Hey, Zhurong... I've..." Alp sighs. "I've got something to say..."

"Look, I’m sorry, ok! I know you stole my popularity, but in doing so you also showed me that popularity… can still get you hate… and, I was a part of that… So, I’m sorry, alright!"

Zhurong was a bit... shocked. But he smiled.

"It's okay, Alp. I understand. Even though your fans have been trying to make me cry just so I don't get any more popular than you. I-I think this is a good development!"

"T-This is just a bit sudden! I don't know what to say... Uhm... Wanna talk more about it or...?"
