So this might be mean but, if both Shadows seem so fragile…how can they work at gun???

First of all, I don’t “work at GUN”. I’m not an employee, I don’t have office hours, I’m not contracted with them. I work with GUN on my own terms. These days I generally jump in directly with Sonic and only assist Team Dark when they ask for me.

Secondly, the other Shadow and I are not fragile. We’re not made of glass; we have chronic pain. And I have had it my whole life. I can still do everything I do, still fight any fight. I just have to manage my pain.

The other Shadow… her pain is much more severe and debilitating than mine, since the pregnancy. She can’t walk unaided, she has retired her Blade Skates, and she… can no longer fight by her wife’s side. But she’s not fragile. I personally believe she’s stronger than I am.

I hope you wouldn’t dare send anything like this to her. I can only imagine what she’s going through. And I’m certain her wife would kill you.

Oh yeah. Forgot about that. Well, she spent long enough chasing me. I figured I’d give it a try. Wasn’t for me. Wasn’t for her, either. All worked out in the end.

As for babysitting, it was pretty fun! But kinda stressful being in the girls’ universe. Girl me was… not doin’ good.

The twins were great, though. Super cute. We taught ‘em how to do the macarena!

Sonic, how does it feel knowing the girls' new baby likes you more than they like their own mama, who is a girl version of you?

Nah, I’m kidding. Kids are complicated, Lustre’s gonna warm up to girl me eventually.

Update, I'm not sure if you've heard from your Tails yet or not. Fem Sonic has made it home and is with the baby. Fem Shadow is still on Angel Island with the others. She will recover, but she hasn't woken yet... I know communication can be temperamental at the best of times between worlds. But you guys might want to reach out, I think she needs a friend right now... I don't think she's going to reach out by herself right now.

… I know what you’re feeling right now. I know how scary it is, thinking you’re gonna lose your Shadow, wondering if you’d even be able to make it without them…

I-I know I can make it. But I don’t want to. I don’t wanna be strong. I don’t wanna do this without her?
