-Stormlands, home to the Baratheons was home to wild weather, the Caretakers, unique life forms such as porgs and numerous types of fish. There was something untamed, and beautiful about Stormlands. It existed as an oxymoron of sorts: it represented life and new hope, but also decay and death. 

For the lost wanderer, it would be hard to find their place. You’d struggle to deny its beauty and magic, for the ancient forests and stony shores represent secrets of their own. Stormlands has no cities, but fortresses and beautiful water- the Tarths, in particular are famed in that regard. Rain is frequent, and its people have a sense of adventure.

-The Riverlands, or shortened to ‘Riverlands’ is the exciting home of House Tully. It is a planet known for showing compassion and charity to travellers and a bustling trade system. The seat of House Tully, Riverrunn is actually under water. Riverlands places a strong emphasis on swimming and aquatic activites. Because of this, it attracts people all over the galaxy.

Dorne is a rather small planet, but is known for its beaches. It has a rich history, but is sometimes plagued by war and extreme heat. It is considered to be the top planet for botanists in the galaxy, as the plants and flowers there are incredible.

At the heart of Dorne, is Sunspear. Not only the water gardens are there, however but an Imperial base. The Martells are not pleased about this, yet play their part. Doran Martell is often theorized by his people to be a force user himself. The Martells frequently say to their enemies “You will not bend us, break us, or make us bow. This is Dorne. You are not wanted here. Return at your peril.”

There strength (which can not be denied) means they can maintain some peace in particular areas. However, rogue bounty hunters like Darkstar still make their presence known.

-Vale is made up of multiple cities that sit on clouds. The planet itself is a gas giant, and is considered one of the more luxurious and expensive planets in the galaxy. There is also an emphasis on education, with multiple schools. Vale is governed by a council of business executives and scholars called ‘Arryns’. They usually try to stay out of wars and other conflicts, but sometimes they can’t avoid that (it is recorded that stormtroopers once occupied the main city, Eyrie).

However, trade is thriving and the cities are full of secrets- tunnels in particular, and the ‘moon door’ which very few know about. Some speculate that the reason why the city is so high in the clouds, so it can inspire the dreamers that live there.

-The Reach, or just ‘Reach’ is one of, if not the most desired place in the galaxy. It’s beauty is legendary, the stuff of songs and poems. It wasn’t always this way- as the ‘Field of Fire’ had brought war to this planet a couple of centuries ago. Here, the citizens are chivalrious, have a keen eye for aesthetics and try to be peaceful (but are willing to play games, if necessary for politics does thrive). 

At the centre of this planet, is Highgarden- the home of Princess Margaery Tyrell. She’s known to be a staunch advocate for the wellbeing of her home planet. The Reach also has numerous open fields, blue waters and stunning architecture. It’s quite the forefront in technology. Oldtown, where the Citadel lies- is a rich place that attracts scholars all over the galaxy. 

Overall, The Reach is an intellectual thriving spot- where there is plenty of love and adoration to go around.

The Iron Islands- or called by outsiders as the ‘planet of Iron’ is the home to the Ironborn, led by the Greyjoys. It’s a cold planet, with many storms. Rain is a frequent site. However, this does not detere the people who live there from a strong sense of personal pride and identity. The storms are simply a harsh environment to make them stronger. 

The planet of Iron is often seen as being too sterile. It does have a reputation for producing weapons, technology and military personnel- the fighters of Iron Islands are legendary. 

‘What Is Dead May Never Die’ is their official motto, and they make it clear to people who cross them.

Having swamps, hills and gold mines aren’t what make Westerlands so memorable as a planet (although it produces the most gold in the galaxy). No, it’s the active government by the Lannisters (where Tywin is a close ally of Palpatine), the storm troopers presence, and spies being everywhere. Opposing the Lannisters would mean your palace being wiped out.

Depending on your social standing, this planet is either home or a hostile place. However, war eventually came to Westerlands. It was the conqueror Daenerys Targaryen from another planet who exploited the weaknesses put their by Tyrion Lannister (who put a secret entry into the planet, that meant it can’t be detected)

Part of a system called ‘The Crownlands’ (including the planet ‘King’s Landing’) Dragonstone is a mostly lava, desolate planet cursed with ghosts and death. It is where people go to die. It is believed Darth Vader himself lived on this planet for decades, yet that is seen as a myth.

As it used to be held by the Targaryens, Dragonstone was also once the home of Stannis Baratheon and his followers. Adorned with the statues and skulls of dragons, there is a distinct feel of dragon ghosts around this planet. Old and rather strong, most people fear Dragonstone- it takes a certain type of person to live there.
