1. What song are you listening to right now? and if you’re not listening to music, what is the first song to come up in your iPod?
Carry on my Wayward Son by Kansas. I just got it for my mp3 player and it's been on repeat all day!
2. What was the last meal you had?
Alright, let's be specific here. I just finished dinner. I had mac&cheese and chicken. Usually I have Annie's Organic alfredo mac&cheese but sometimes we buy that red vegetable-infused pasta and I use it instead and pour the cheese sauce on that. The chicken had this italian herb marinade. I had cucumbers to go with it, plus orange juice. A wonderful mix, I know. Sat down with it all and watched Supernatural.
3. Do you have pets? What are their names and what are they like? What would be your ideal pet? (I know that’s more than one question but they’re sort of linked :P)
No, I don't have pets. I really wish I did, I'm an only child and it's lonely. Plus, I love animals, especially the weird ones. I've always wanted a ball python, but I've settled for something smaller for college soon. Currently, at the top of my list are catfish- they're my favorite fish, I just love 'em, I think they're adorable. There's two types I'd like: the Glass Catfish, they're little and transparent, and the Upside-down Catfish, they're chunky and swim upside-down. I also saw once in PetSmart these bamboo shrimp, I want one so bad. I love shrimp too. Cutest little things ever.
4. What subject(s) do you take (or what is your job based on) and which is your favourite (or favourite aspect)?
Well, ha, I'm 17 and still no job. But college-wise, I'm going into Wildlife & Conservation Biology and in school now I'm taking AP Biology and Environmental Bio to prepare for that plus Calculus and Physics. It's quite the load. It's what I want to do and what I've always loved to do.
5. Take the book closest to you and go to page 49, and tell me the paragraph that includes line 7.
From "Frankenstein" by Mary Shelley:
" 'Is that all, my dear Henry? How could you suppose that my first thought would not fly towards those dear, dear friends whom I love and who are so deserving of my love?' "
6. If you could live in any fictional world, what would it be?
I like the world of the Winchesters, and that of Doctor Who. After all, they're not quite so fictional, are they? It's just the real world plus a few things that I'm not entirely certain don't actually exist. Despite the monsters and demons and angels that have their own agenda that may not agree with your continued existence, knowing that the Winchesters are out there driving on the open road looking for danger would help me sleep at night. Same with the Doctor. Holding that hope in my heart that one day he might fall out of the sky and offer me a key with smiling eyes, telling me I could witness the wonders of anywhere and anywhen, that I could change the world like I'd always dreamed... or seeing a shining '67 Impala rumble into the parking lot of the diner I'm having lunch at, two unmistakeable men swinging those creaky doors shut behind them and taking a seat next to me at the counter, the shorter one with the worn brown leather jacket looking over at me with a sly smile playing at his lips and asking for my number, eagerly writing it down but asking for his first so I'd never lose him. Both of these worlds would be perfect. There's so much more danger, but the opportunities for greatness exceed any fear I could have. Fictional as they may be, I still go to sleep every night thinking about that blue box, how it's just a little darker than the eyes of that sad angel, the sequence 'CNK 8OQ3' drifting through my mind as images of bow ties, stetsons, and fezzes float by dreamily. They're real to me, and I think they are to many of us here. I'll never stop looking for what I believe is out there somewhere.
7. If you could choose to be an expert in any one area, or have any one skill to perfection, what would it be?
Ooh, that's hard. Just earlier I was commenting to my dad about how amazing everyone here is at drawing/creating fanart and how I literally can't even doodle Cas without it turning into some deformed creature that doesn't even remotely resemble a face. So, it'd be nice to be able to make art, especially on the computer, with all the fancy programs I don't have. Have a way to pull what's in my head out and jam it onto a blank canvas for all to enjoy. Trust me, there's a ton up there.
8. What is your favourite day of the week and why?
I like Saturdays most. First day of the weekend, I sleep till noon. I do all my homework on Sunday so it's my free day. Tuesdays are the best during the week however, because Monday you're tired and you get hit with a ton of homework, Wed/Thurs are block days in school for me with double-length classes (ugh) and Friday you're exhausted. Tuesdays are easiest.
9. Night-time or Day-time and why?
I like both. I have night vision so darkness doesn't bother me. I feel at home at night, during the summer I stay up til 1am most of the time, the moon is enchanting, it's alive with insect song, there's bats and owls, all sorts of strange creatures that emerge only when it's safe. The coolest animals are out then. But daytime is when it's bright, warm, and oh, the 5 o'clock summer golden sunlight is my absolute favorite. Basically, I like it all. I have a hard time choosing favorites.
10. Would you prefer to work with adults, children, animals or none of the above and why?
Animals. Obviously. I can't stand children- there's just some communication barrier I can't seem to get across. And they're loud and obnoxious. I need something on my intellectual level, and adults are no fun to work with. I can do what they want me to but it's not enjoyable. Animals are endlessly fascinating and I love every kind, although I prefer greatly non-domestic species. I plan to work with animals and plants and all the living things!
11. If you could travel anywhere in the world, instantly, where would you go and would you stay or just visit?
I'd like to visit Australia, Yosemite, Yellowstone, Misha Collins' pants what
I wouldn't stay though, I like where I live. although there's one place I'd stay
i think someone with the initials JRA stole my computer
Ok, my questions for you!
1. Favorite type of cookie?
2. For which fandom do you own the most merchandise, and what do you have?
3. Describe to me the last dream you remember and what you think it means.
4. If you could save only five things from your burning house, what would you choose and why?
5. What's in your pockets right now?
6. When was the last time you made a fandom reference to someone in real life, and did anyone get it?
7. Are you dying to leave home, or will you be sad to go (if you're already in college/working, how did you feel leaving)?
8. If you could choose any two of your favorite celebrities to have their own tv show, what would it be about? If they already work together on a show, make up a completely new one for them!
9. If you could spend one day with either your favorite fictional character or the actor that plays them, who would you choose?
10. What's the oldest and newest items in your house?
11. You ordered a GISHWHES Snuggie from the Schwag Shwop, and got an email saying how it takes time to genetically clone enough Mishas to put in each Snuggie. You come home from school and see a huge package on your doorstep labeled Fragile. You heave it into the house and it starts shaking. You can hear muffled noises from inside and so you open it and discover a very weary Misha Collins wearing your Gishcape. You help him out of the box and he thanks you. Then you realize... it's true. They gave each fan a clone of Misha. You grin mischieviously and a worried expression appears on his face. He's all yours now. How do you spend your first day with your very own Misha?
